Most Favorable Review

Works good, I got a bad drive first time around...requested an exchange with no issue and it runs perfectly fine.

TOSHIBA N300 HDWG180XZSTA 8TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" High-Reliability Hard Drive
TOSHIBA N300 HDWG180XZSTA 8TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" High-Reliability Hard Drive

Pros: 8TB Toshiba - They truly stand behind their warranty and I have at least 5 HDDs from them, the others nearing 5 years old (1TB P300) still running strong in the same case. Half as fast as an SSD for single read/writes, I can play (most) of my Steam games off this, without any issue or lag.

Cons: I got a bad drive the first time around, sounded like a plane flew over my house in my entire glass case (View 71 TG ARGB) an ran extremely hot in the removable drive bay. It can still get loud and slow sometimes during multiple read and write operations running, it also seems to have a compatibility issue with free space consolidation on Windows 7 that made it sound like it wanted to commit suicide lol. I did it under Windows 10 (both running off different 860 EVO drives) and it had no issues--so you may want to avoid that lol.

Overall Review: Great drive, not the best compatibility with Windows 7...I'm simply using it as a backup in a desktop with 6 drives (one running with this each time), no raid, no NAS bay. It gets a little loud and a tad hot but nothing to the extreme unless you got a bad drive from go (I did), so if that happens you may want to request an exchange. I'm running it in an entirely glass case in a multiple drive bay and its not much louder or hotter than my Toshiba P300 drives most of the time. I would definitely recommend especially if you catch it on sale like I did, unless you want to wait (and pay) for Toshibas new tech...I almost did, but i needed the extra storage ASAP. If you check out their site and new drives, you'll see what i mean, but regardless...this is still a great drive.

DOA after one BD 50GB, and one DVD-DL. Lost USB Power

Pioneer USB 3.0 Slim Portable BD/DVD/CD Burner Model BDR-XD07UHD
Pioneer USB 3.0 Slim Portable BD/DVD/CD Burner Model BDR-XD07UHD

Pros: Its the cheapest USB 3.0 with UHD you can find with decent Software if not great. That is all.

Cons: It died in two discs, not sure how exactly, seemed open box upon arrival. The disc tray pop up is nice, but the disk tray insert is odd and would likely make you scratch up discs if your not really careful till you get used to it.

Overall Review: I don't have much opinion on this except Newegg was great about solving my DOA issue, for the two discs it burned before never reading the first BD 50GB again, it worked good....then just no power during its test program checking. It did boot my Windows OS disc no issue using Windows 7 after loading once with it plugged in even without the software...burning was another story. My opinion, dish for the XS07UHD...the cost is worth the quality.

Great drive, terrible driver situation by Samsung.

SAMSUNG 980 M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.4 V-NAND MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V8V500B/AM
SAMSUNG 980 M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.4 V-NAND MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V8V500B/AM

Pros: Fast...really fast. Even on an older Motherboard. Clean looking. Samsung.

Cons: Driver installation is a nightmare. Support was no help since they have yet to add this in the driver package. Can't guarantee it would be found during any clean installation of Windows.

Overall Review: This was actually a hard review to write, I have an MSI Z270 Gaming M7 mobo I have refused to upgrade for Windows 7 compatibility (also running Win 10 Pro on an 860 EVO), it meets all the needed specifications to run this drive, verified by Samsung support to be sure. I had to run circles around all kinds of Windows 7 issues to finally have it recognized...but that I half expected, now when I went to install Windows 10 on it, it still wasn't recognized during installation and even after cloning my EVO drive on it (which was how I did Windows 7 as well, from the same exact model), it loads a generic driver (a clean install failed entirely) but fails to be authenticated by Samsung Magician even when i tried using the same drivers I used on my Windows 7 drive. After all that insanity, Windows 7 still can't do a Smart Test on it unless I remove the Samsung Driver and Install the generic one WITHOUT rebooting, then poof its not authentic anymore lol...meaning it can work, it just won't allow it. Windows 10 couldn't even get that much done although I admittedly quit early after writing a TB+ onto the drive trying. This is the real icing on the cake though, I paused during the Samsung NVMe driver installation and went to hunt down the driver myself...only to find it says 980 to be implemented in a future update right in the installation file which runs an exe that comes with it to download leaving you pretty much out of luck, although it does include the 980 pro...which as far as I know were released at the same time quite a bit back by now. I can't say if it was my older motherboard, my BIOS based Windows 10 installation, or just failure on Samsungs end that Windows could recognize the drive but not authenticate it. Windows 11 (another hack around since my I-Z 7700K isn't supported did allow it to work properly after installing the manual driver I had hunted down for Windows 7 (I found on a Lenovo Laptop support page lol) finally...but if I wasn't such a computer geek I probably would have returned the drive outright. Buyer beware, as nice of a drive as it is for the price...the drivers don't seem to be supported yet within the NVMe driver package as of the time I'm writing this...you may be better off paying a bit more for the PRO, 970, or even a sata version if your not in desperate need of the speed or clean look of an NVMe drive. On a plus note, thing is FAST if you can get it running, about 3 times as fast as my 860 EVO sata drives via 3DMarks new storage benchmark and 6 times via Samsung Magician even half supported (I trust 3DMark heh) Good brand, great speed, zero support 3 calls later and not a word about the driver not being implemented. My first bad experience with samsung ever.

Quality product, excellent service. Five stars all around.

Nippon Labs SATA3L0.8FT-90/180BK 9.6" SATA III Male to Male Latching Cable(Flat to Right Angle), Black
Nippon Labs SATA3L0.8FT-90/180BK 9.6" SATA III Male to Male Latching Cable(Flat to Right Angle), Black

Pros: Cables and clips were solid, no loose clicking sound from the clips like I received from another company when buying a different color. Exactly as advertised, bottom line. Great customer service, I had to contact the seller over my own mistake and not only was I met with a swift reply, but a speedy resolution as well. Completely hassle free on my end...even though it was fault entirely and I stated the fact personally.

Cons: It didn't come in a zip lock bag that I could reseal? lol. Seriously, I literally felt like I was on a SATA shopping spree trying to get the perfect length and two colors to match my new PSU wires for my rig since its entirely tempered glass on all sides. So needless to say, I had bought quite a few different types and sizes, and out of them all these were not only the best quality, but the only company that didn't give me any issue or try to make me pay half the price of the cables to send them back. Cons: I bought the others somewhere else.

Overall Review: I made a mistake in length reading too many Cable descriptions until my brain melted trying to find the exact length and colors I was looking for...somehow I got the impression .08 feet was 8" and 9.6" was with the connectors stuck in my mind. I contacted the seller...and not only did I get a swift reply in itself, I was given a swift and excellent resolution as well. The cables really are OEM quality, they actually compare to the ones I got included with a brand new Motherboard. Great product, great service. What else do you need to know? Besides carpentry so you don't make my foolish mistake haha. I normally wouldn't write a real review for cables, just "its a cord, it works" ...but they actually deserve it. Highly recommended in every way possible. This is coming from the guy trying to match his cable colors with his PSU wires lol. Take it from a geek.

CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO CL-9011109-WW RGB Lighting Controller

CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO CL-9011109-WW, RGB Lighting Controller with Individually Addressable RGB LED Strips
CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO CL-9011109-WW, RGB Lighting Controller with Individually Addressable RGB LED Strips

Pros: -Really Bright (more so than most Corsair fans)-Works with the Commander Pro without the included Hub.- Good length per strip and the extensions are useful for hard to reach places (my case is 2ft long x 2ft tall) and I ran them across my top Corsair CAPELLIX ELITE Triple fan rad.-Unlike what i have seen in most reviews, they do have preset patterns built into iCUE and can be used in sync with each other as long as they run off a single LED strip port, or you could have multiple different patterns...either on one or more LED ports or a single port, pretty much the same as the fan setups.

Cons: -My first set came with 2 or 3 of the strips cracked dead center due to bad packing or a manufacturing defect. They were replaced without any issue except a minor delay, not like I was in a desperate rush for LED strips heh.-The connectors between each strip can be a boon since they ruin a fluid continuous lighting if you can't hide them, same with the extensions. Takes a bit of wire work, especially if you need to work around other wire work such as zip ties (still need to fix mine up), but its no big deal once they are how you want them.

Overall Review: CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO CL-9011109-WW, RGB Lighting Controller with Individually Addressable RGB LED StripsThese things are downright sexy, worked great in any iCUE based lighting scenario and can be places almost anywhere due the sticky and magnetic base. They are not as flexible as some LED strips, likely due to how complex the lighting is instead of single color or simple ARGB unlike iCUE, but they have enough flex as long as you are aware of the fact (or simply careful)...never had one get damaged by my own doing, but as stated above I did get cracked ones on my first purchase so I have to assume they have a breaking point. In the products defense, it was freezing where i live during delivery lol.I have an almost entirely ARGB iCUE setup running off a Z270 with no Motherboard connection I refuse to give up since I love Windows 7, and on Windows 7 and 10 I have zero issues with either iCUE or the hardware.I can definitely recommend as long as you have the patience for wire work or you simple don't care about it. It takes a bit of effort to hide the non-lighting portions between the strips if you want to use iCUE preset patterns.

Came with a loose USB connection. Get what you pay for.

Wavlink Nano Wireless Bluetooth CSR 4.0 Dongle Adapter Bluetooth V4.0 USB Adapter CSR Chip Dongle Stick EDR USB 2.0 Dual-Mode Support Bluetooth Voice data/Music/Printer for laptop/Pad/Headser/BTMpblie

Pros: It worked?..On Windows 7? The company was kind enough to reach out to me and refund me without my asking or requesting for anything, I may have got a bad one out of the bunch, but that was classy of them. If it connected to my headphones I would have definitely bought another for that reason alone. Customer service to me, is just as, if not more, important than the product itself.

Cons: It didn't work for what I bought it for (my fault entirely) and came with an extremely loose piece inside the USB connector that wouldn't be near my PC very long after a test run. They reached out due to this and refunded me of they're own accord.

Overall Review: I wanted this for my JBL Tune 120 Ear Buds at night, I also didn't check the BT version on those lol...so this was pretty useless to me regardless--but it also came feeling like the USB insert was breaking, you can see the slant if you look close enough, I can hear it when I tap or move it. Considering I got no real use for it anyways and it was cheap on sale, I'm not even gonna bother with a refund. Need BT 5.0 anyway. EDIT: Read pros and cons, refund was issued without request. Just be warned, I wouldn't have felt comfortable sticking it into the front panel of my expensive PC for what it cost me so you may want to check first before just tossing it in...and my JBL are pretty old, so if your using a Harman Audio product, you likely need a better BT version than this as well.

Works as intended, instructions are terrible.

I bought this to try and run some tests on a few weird acting outlets at home, primarily based on the fact it came with instructions since I'm no electrician...which are pretty much one page horrible pictures (they don't even point out which dial to set it too, although you can tell if you REALLY look), which is what cost it an egg. Don't highlight the fact it comes with a manual and then make the manual a quick reference for retired electricians, most people are not and its a dangerous thing to tamper with when you have no idea what your doing. That aside, as luck would have it, I had an issue I couldn't fix myself and a friend who is an electrician came to help out and had no complaints about the products functionality. I have also used the Clamp personally since then on socket receptacles and had no issue with getting a good reading...personally I bought an AC line splitter for simplicity sake which seems to have more issues than the meter itself. This is the first of four Newegg Marketplace transactions I have done (all on accident lol) that has actually delivered a FULL product without any flaws that i know of, therefore I felt the need to give it the rating it deserved. If they had a semi-decent instruction manual included as I thought, I would have given it five eggs. There are better models at a much steeper cost, but for what I needed it for, it did the job...and it did it right without missing parts or something broken inside my package. After my horrible luck buying from any seller aside from Newegg directly, that's a good thing right out of the box lol. Hard to figure out unless you already know what your doing or want to delve into research about it, and it's no major electricians tool for the price it cost...but all in all i have no complaints except for the instructions. Overall, I can recommend it for people doing small home based tasks, so long as its within the voltage and amp range you need. It does its job, bottom line.

Great speakers, few oddities in question...but they sound mint.

I'm having trouble determining if these were Pioneer refurbished or returns due to some odd things I noticed, such as one Bookshelf speaker cover coming off with ease and the other feeling almost glued on, beat up packaging, etc...but thats an issue I will take up with Pioneer should anything go wrong within the Warranty Period. As for the speakers themselves, I bought the entire set in separate parts (Bookshelf, Center, Two Towers)--I don't even want the Subwoofer that came in this set, it's kind of insulting. On a side note, when I purchased the two Towers after these, they were shipped incredibly fast in comparison, as if Pioneer knew I would want them all at once, I thought it was interesting (and great) of them to even notice. I went to hook them up and realized I needed another amplifier as mine just wouldn't have handled it as good as it should have, and somehow my center channel started flaking out (it was an old but good amp), so I bought a Pioneer Amp as well. I hooked the Bookshelf and Center up just for a test run recently, as i'm moving soon and don't plan to set up the entire system just yet...the sound is incredible. Even just the Bookshelf / Center alone sounds amazing. I haven't gotten to the towers yet, but it was a separate purchase and will be a separate review soon enough...the wait for the Amp made me feel the need to put this up as soon as possible. I can't say i'm disappointed in the least, with the right setup running, these they will sound incredible for sure. I didn't even use my EQ when I did the test run and their still great. I got the entire set for like 70-80% off, so for the price I wouldn't complain unless one of the speakers blew for no reason or something of the sort, and I don't see that happening to be honest. Like I said, the few odd factors and banged up box job (looking resealed) leaves me with a bit of unease, but if their warranty is half as good as these speakers...I should have nothing to worry about, even if something does go wrong. Hopefully I never have the need to find out, as I do take extremely good care of my equipment and I don't feel the need to shake my entire house, I wanted crystal clear sound...not an earthquake machine and these could likely be either if you wanted them too. Bottom line, i'm a bit thrown off by the way they arrived, but they are working and working good, they can even put out semi-decent bass by themself, although I won't personally be using that aspect. One of the best sets of speakers you can get in my opinion, and at less than half price it was a steal. I'll likely add two more Bookshelf speakers at full price if need be later since I upgraded from a 5.1 channel amp to a 7.1 when i did need to replace it. If it wasn't for the minor nagging in my mind, I would have definitely went 5 stars across the board, but i'm no audiophile either, so it could just be in my head. No complaints so far though, great deal on great speakers. Period.
