Pros: The higher data density really does make this a snappy drive. I'm no benchmarking expert but CrystalDiskMark shows 182/172 read/write speed in MB/sec.
Cons: Produces a quiet yet constant high-pitched sound. It's not unbearable though; if you don't focus on it it's not there, but I might get some foam to eliminate it anyway.
Overall Review: I use this as the only drive in my system. I'll probably never get close to its full capacity, but I've had great experiences with Seagate drives and bad ones with SSD's, so I played it safe and I'm glad I did.
Needed Repairs

Pros: Attractive design. Good-looking colors and whatnot. Unlike other reviewers, I find the touch controls very useful because they are clearly labeled and the menu system uses this to its advantage.
Cons: When mine arrived, the monitor displayed random bars and colors instead of the input signal. It would need to be tilted around its hinge in order to return to normal operation and it got to the point where tilting it didn't fix it. Also, when using HDMI or DVI, the picture didn't span the whole display at its native 1080p resolution. There was a good inch of black on the top and sides where it would otherwise stretch to using VGA.
Overall Review: Got an RMA through ViewSonic; I might be able to speak better to its pros once I get a working unit.
