Works well

Pros: Works. USB2.0 is fast. I like using these as opposed to the built in function of many cameras because this transfers much faster.
Cons: Shows up as four unnamed removable media drives in the drive manager. It's not really so much a product con as a Windows con.
Defective

Pros: None, I didn't get it to work long enough.
Cons: Broken after the first music load. I added 950MB of mp3's and ejected it safely. The unit went into "updating database" and I let it sit for a full 20 minutes before forcing a reset. It crashes to static on every restart now.
Overall Review: Before loading the music that brought it to it's knees I did get a chance to navigate around the menus. The interface is a bit sluggish and unpolished looking but serviceable. That's all I can comment on, there was no chance to check sound quality.
Great Little Player

Pros: Drag and drop loading. Find files by artist, genre, album. Playlist generator. I must not be picky because I don't understand all the people complaining about the earbuds. They are fine as far as I am concerned. Bright screen. Intuitive navigation. LOUD.... FM tuner. Great battery life. Medium volume, and 192Kbps files gets you right around 8 hours continuous play.. And I rarely go above 1/3 volume. Overall, the best you can get at the price.
Cons: I honestly can't think of any. Possibly only supplying a USB cable to charge but it's not a deal-breaker by any means.
Overall Review: All you guys complaining that it only charges from USB can go on 3b6y (the auction site), and get cellphone chargers with the same connector! I can charge this with my Moto home charger or the car charger. And the bonus is, unlike hooking it up USB (that disables the player), you can listen while it's on a stand-alone charger.
Decent Board

Pros: Does as advertised. I built it as a super-budget office PC and am running value RAM and a cheap single core. The onboard video works fine for 2D stuff, don't bother trying to play games though. Onboard sound was surprisingly free of the whine I hear on most, but it wasn't hooked up to great speakers, could still be there.
Cons: I'm not overclocking or tweaking this one so I have no cons. It works as advertised. Only one SATA cable.
Overall Review: I have to say, chalk it up to luck if you want, but this is the first full PC build I've had in a while where I had no hardware or software issue at all. The driver disk has everything you need to get started, and the ECS website was easy to navigate to get updated drivers.
Pleasantly Surprised

Pros: Tool-less adapters for HDD, 5.25, and 3.5 bays. The case is plastic ans therefor looks a bit cheap, but for what it is and what it costs, I was impressed. I was building a super-budget office PC for a local organization, and just went for the cheapest case with a decent size power supply.
Cons: Edges are a bit sharp, but not too bad. Door that covers the USB and front audio ports doesn't work as it should. Instead of pushing on the bottom to get it to open, I have to get my fingernails over the top edge. But again, For the price you have to expect quirks.
Good Value

Pros: Great picture quality. Able to take 640x480 30fps video with decent sound. Good amount of shooting modes and lots of configurables in manual. GREAT macro function, I took a test shot of my wedding ring while on my hand, Filled the field of view with it, and it was crystal clear. Price is good for am 8MP, and at the time I got it with a free 1G card. I like the swivel screen, because you can flip it around and take shots of yourself with someone and see what you are doing. Been using it taking pictures of my kids for over a month so far and have yet to change the first set of batteries.
Cons: Not really a con considering the price, but the only thing I could hope for is a better than 3x zoom. Although you can get add-on lenses.
Overall Review: Can't put it as a pro or con since it's subjective, but I like the size of the body. Most non-DSLR's today are so freaking small I end up with a pinky over the lens for half my shots. With the 4 AA-cells, the grip actually fits your hand. Some may like the size as I do. Others may hate the fact that they can't throw it in a pocket.
