Great budget case with compromises

Rosewill FBM-X2 Micro ATX Mini Tower Desktop Gaming PC Computer Case, 240mm AIO Support, USB 3.0
Rosewill FBM-X2 Micro ATX Mini Tower Desktop Gaming PC Computer Case, 240mm AIO Support, USB 3.0

Pros: Spacious, good cable management, sleek, great price, quiet included fan

Cons: Pcie slots are slightly offset, blocking thicker display cables. The case metal is thin.

Overall Review: I just moved my pc into this case, and it is pretty great. It's spacious and has excellent cable management for its size. The 3.5" slot for the HDD is pretty convenient. The mounts for 2.5" drives are pretty cool too, going behind the MB with the extra cables. There are some minor problems though. Only one 3.5" mount is rough. The mounts for the 2.5" drives have them pressed up against the metal, bending the SATA power cables and stressing the connection to the drive. My GPU (980ti reference) doesn't quite line up properly with the external expansion slots. I had to work hard to get my GPU screw holes to line up, and even afterwards, the 1st slot is either too narrow or misaligned by ~4mm. This misalignment was enough to prevent my full sized displayport cable from plugging in fully. I was able to get it to work, but it was an unwelcome problem. If you can get this case under $30, I highly recommend it. It is loaded with features, and the price is great. These problems won't affect everybody, plus I was able to make it work anyway. I'm going to keep this case and hopefully enjoy it for years to come.

A fantastic bargain

Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan
Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Keeps my Phenom II 965 BE ice cold, even with a mild overclock to 3.8ghz (note that I reduced the voltage to 1.4, your mileage may vary on stability). Temps are around 30C idle, and 48 after ten minutes of Prime95 torture. Price was fantastic. I'm still waiting for the rebate, but if/when it comes it will have reduced the price to that of a half decent air cooler. Fits in a medium sized mATX case (7" wide)

Cons: Noise. This is not the quietest liquid cooler available by any means. It's still quieter than the phenom stock cooler, but so is an airplane. The noise isn't worth taking off an egg, because any good cooler makes noise.

Overall Review: 2 year warranty is nice, hopefully it lasts longer.

All Around Excellent

LG 24EB23PM-B Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS pivot&height adjustable 300 cd/m2 Mega CR(DFC) Built-in Speakers
LG 24EB23PM-B Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS pivot&height adjustable 300 cd/m2 Mega CR(DFC) Built-in Speakers

Pros: This monitor is large, with nice pixel density. From where I sit, (30 in away) pixels are practically unseeable, and mine came with no dead/bright ones. Colors are vivid, and it came factory calibrated for out-of-the-box performance. Pictures taken on a DSLR camera are stunningly lifelike. Games perform similarly well, but the extra vertical pixels can stress a weaker graphics card on demanding titles.

Cons: If the DVI goes out, you're short on luck unless you want to use analog VGA. No hdmi or displayport. I can't in good faith subtract an egg for this, as Newegg makes no claims otherwise. I thought it did, but that was my own fault for misreading.

Overall Review: I would definitely buy this again: for the price, the quality and size of this display is difficult to beat.

Nice

HIS IceQ Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card H787Q2G2M
HIS IceQ Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card H787Q2G2M

Pros: A good value, fairly quiet, and runs most games on max settings. The ps4 gpu is reputed to be extremely similar to this one (about 10% fewer stream processors), so look out for future titles to run well on this card

Cons: The thing is massive, blocks the pcie slot I was going to use for a network card. This is effectively a triple slot card thanks to the fabulous iceq cooler

Overall Review: I would buy it again, as it has met my needs.
