DuroMax XP4400 Portable Gas Powered Recoil Start Generator - RV Home Backup
DuroMax XP4400 Portable Gas Powered Recoil Start Generator - RV Home Backup

Pros: 2 phase, easily connected to whole house, starts first pull every time! This thing is QUIET!! love it.

Cons: None yet

Overall Review: DuroMax claims that if stored according to their directions, it will start on the first pull. Well, I tried this. It sat for almost a full year. I put gas in it, turn on the gas valve, and it started. First pull. When you need a generator to start, this is the brand you want!

NeatDesk Desktop Scanner and Digital Filing System - PC
NeatDesk Desktop Scanner and Digital Filing System - PC

Pros: Scans fast. Good clarity

Cons: Doesn't last long at all. Cheap design

Overall Review: I own a computer service business. This product lasted less than a year. Both live chat and phone support from NEAT are a joke. A section of the LED light is out, leaving a large area of the scan not usable. They insist it is a software issue even though I can physically see the light is out. There area lot of issues like this online. DO NOT BUY!! Also, if you want to backup a special document, save it as a .pdf. do not use their software, file types will not open with anything else.

SuperSpeed 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI-E PCI Express 19-pin USB3.0 4-pin IDE Connector Low Profile
SuperSpeed 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI-E PCI Express 19-pin USB3.0 4-pin IDE Connector Low Profile

Pros: Cheap price. Transfer rates are as stated

Cons: This card is made of cheap material. I plugged in the 4 pin power and the whole connector came right off. It took almost 4 weeks to get here, so instead of waiting another 4 weeks for a new one, I just soldered it back on.

Overall Review: I got this card specifically for the onboard connection. My case has ports on it by my current mobo did not offer the onboard pins. This card works very well, just be careful when installing it. Make sure to support the connectors when plugging power in or it will pop off the board.

Not to bad

Rosewill RNX-N4PS IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 Router (2T3R) Up to 300Mbps Data Rates/ WPA/WPA2 (AES, 64,128-WEP with shared-key authentication), WPS/ Power Saving Solution/ Hardware WPA button

Pros: Great price for a 300Mbs router. Even used ones on the web were not as good of a deal. Easy to set up if you are just doing standard configurations.

Cons: Web interface dones't always keep the changes you make. It says you can assign static IP's by adding int he MAC address, but it actually assigns 2 IPs if you do that. I was going to use this as my main router for home server but due to the whole Static IP thing I had to switch and make it a secondary. Also, VPN is not very consistant, but I think that was mainly due to it randoly reassigning IPs eventhough it was set to Static and said "forever" of lease time. This was both before and after a firmware update.

Overall Review: This router is fast and does what it says if you are just looking for a quick router to be able to use your laptops full wireless N capability. If you want to get into more advanced routing options for a server or remote access I would suggest spending a little extra money and getting something a little better.
