This review is from: NIB D-Link DWA140 Wireless Network N 300 Rangebooster N USB Adapter WIFI 802.11n
Pros: It does work on 2.4, not much else to say on this, it's not as fast as other single link adapters.
Cons: The black rubber on the casing is sticky (feels like flu paper. Tried wiping it down but it still is sticky.
Other Thoughts: The word "Cheap" is a kind and universal way of describing this device.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The card has a small foot print and runs fairly cool. While I purchased it for gaming it does well as business from home PC as it runs reliably on games but not as well as a real gaming board should. I normally purchase Asus cards as I have had no issues with any of the cards from Asus but I noticed that MSI was finally making some very good cards and started using MSI of late.
This card works well but, as I said before, it's not a true gaming card, it's performance it pedestrian at best. Presently I'm playing WareFrame and it runs well as of this writing.
Cons: No back plain, this may seem picky but the back plain plate helps in two ways, it stiffens the card and also can be used as a heat sink, helping to keep the card cool and protect the backside of the card from exposure to something hitting it. The software that came with it was not very helpful or, should I say, useful as it should be.
Other Thoughts: In short I have an Asus motherboard with an AMD FX-8350 CPU and 16 Gigs of G.Sill memory running Windows 10 (latest version as of this post (1/2/2017)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: At 125 Watts this little devil can literally burn your fingers but who would touch it right after turning it off ... Never the less it is a great CPU for the money and it handles everything I and a few friends of mine throw at it with out a hiccup.
Cons: It would be better if AMD finally get with the times and manufacture a chip less then 32nm that uses less power and runs cooler but it does work well as is just not what everyone else is looking for; we all want efficiency and power ... perhaps some day ...
Other Thoughts: make sure you buy a beefy CPU cooler that can fit in your computer cabinet, this will help keeping this beast running at top speed for much longer. Thanks Newegg for having this on sale and getting it to me relatively quickly.READ FULL REVIEW
