Terrible... 2X DOA

Microtek DI 1210 16200-sensor tri-linear CCD array 600 x 600 dpi Sheet Fed Imaging Scanner
Microtek DI 1210 16200-sensor tri-linear CCD array 600 x 600 dpi Sheet Fed Imaging Scanner

Pros: I wish I had some pros...

Cons: The first scanner I received would power on, but would not detect on any USB connection I tried, and I tried many. So I RMA'd. After a little hassle from Newegg which I've never experienced before, I got a new one. The replacement won't even power on or light up, so its DOA too.

Overall Review: Never again.

One stick DOA

OCZ XMP Ready Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model OCZ3X1600LV6GK
OCZ XMP Ready Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model OCZ3X1600LV6GK

Pros: Of course Newegg was awesome... Memory seemed good, ran fine in XMP mode in my ASUS board. RMA through Newegg was easy. I definitely appreciate having Newegg.

Cons: Only 4GB out of the 6GB was detected. One of the sticks was DOA. I contacted OCZ support and provided the timings and settings. They replied with their standard response, and asked for the timings and settings and motherboard specs. After I provided those to them (again), I didn't hear anything from OCZ for several days. After I called them, they issued an RMA but could only replace it with a different memory. It was also out of stock with Newegg. So, I simply refunded the memory and bought it from a local store who matched Newegg's price.

Overall Review: OCZ technical support left a lot to be desired. Not pro-active, not timely. Since the memory is only sold in sets of 3, you have to replace all three. Neither Newegg nor OCZ would replace just one stick. This was hard because you have to have some memory to keep your computer running... This was inconvenient.
