Most Critical Review

Lots of tech, scant quality

PHILIPS In-Ear True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Power Bank - Black
PHILIPS In-Ear True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Power Bank - Black

Pros: Voice pick up is good, Bluetooth works aggressively

Cons: Has all the sound quality of a $15 pair of wired earbuds, charges don't last long enough for a day of work with several hour long calls.

Overall Review: If your phone doesn't have a headphone jack and you enjoy listening to high fidelity music, make other plans.

Great bargain

Rosewill RHKN-12001 15-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Cutlery Block Set
Rosewill RHKN-12001 15-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Cutlery Block Set

Pros: It's a lot of bang for the buck. This is my first real set of knives. I had previously worked through callouses and blisters using a set of thrifted, blunted straight edge blades. I'm hoping to have these blades for at least a few years. They are honed to a decently fine edge: I chopped onion with virtually no tears.

Cons: As always, a knife is only as good as its handle. I found myself gripping a lot of the blades a little awkwardly after a while. At 5'10", they're not ergonomically optimal for me. But I didn't expect them to be whence buying online, so caveat emptor.

Overall Review: Remember, with any straight edge blade, the best way to keep it sharp is hone it on the steel about 5-10 times every time you use it, either before or afterward. Even then, you have to bring it to a professional sharpener once a year. And serrated blades can't be sharpened.
