HooToo HT-TM02 TripMate Nano Wireless N150 Portable Travel Router - USB Storage Media Sharing, Access Point, Wi-Fi Router and Bridge
HooToo HT-TM02 TripMate Nano Wireless N150 Portable Travel Router - USB Storage Media Sharing, Access Point, Wi-Fi Router and Bridge

Pros: Small. Works off USB. Easy to use. Works with attached storage. DLNA server. Great app for sharing files.

Cons: Perhaps doesn't do repeater mode.

Overall Review: This thing rocks. I had it running almost before I knew it; it's super easy to set up. Access point from my Ethernet connection worked great, and I also tested it as a bridge from wifi. Worked fine for that. And finally as a LAN with no Internet; fine as well. A really nice feature is the USB port. Attached a USB thumbrive and I was sharing files right away. You can connect to it via the TripMates own web interface, and move around files, view photos, etc. Or use their very nice app on your phone to do the same. It's great to set up an instant LAN and have all your buddies sharing files to and from it. You can also use it as a miniDLNA server; I was able to find it right away from my PS3 and start playing music and showing photos off it. I got surprisingly strong signals from it as well. Considering how small it is, that's pretty amazing. My Airport Extreme was at -65, and this at -68 about equal distance from both and behind a wall. Good documentation, and ever so easy to set up via it's own interface. Better than my Apple Airport stuff.
