Pros: Picture is absolutely gorgeous. Possibly the best I've seen in a bargain 19" display. Nice thin panel ... and very light. Glossy case finish matches well with other glossy peripherals, if you have them.
Cons: Like every other monitor I've ever seen ... the speakers are practically useless. Not a big deal, just pointing out that you shouldn't expect anything different from this model compared to others you've seen. Rather spartan features. Nothing extra like HDMI ports, USB hub, etc. etc. While I wouldn't call a monitor at this price point "expensive", it is pricey compared to others in it's size/class. A few extras like that would make it easier to justify.
Other Thoughts: We were looking for monitors to create a dual monitor configuration for some 19" glossy All-In-Ones that were manufatured to medical standards. (So not your basic flimsy plastic wonders).
19" Monitors are disappearing, and most of what's left leaves a lot to be desired. Granted these haven't been in service very long , so longevity is a still a huge question mark. But initial feedback from users is glowingly positive. They LOOK very nice, both in picture quality and style.
As a bonus, this panel is light enough such that it could be installed first on one side of a dual monitor stand without tipping the stand over. It doesn't sound like much, but if you consider that we setup over 50 of these all at once ... it was a pretty big deal.
The other reviewers seem to really bash this display because of its shoddy speakers. And while it is true that they are absolutely terrible ... this monitor does many other things well. I don't buy bargain monitors for their speakers.
