Amazing PSU

CORSAIR RM Series RM850 850 W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply
CORSAIR RM Series RM850 850 W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Mount on top or bottom of case (with the right case, works pefectly in the cheap but awesome Corsair 200R). -Silent 95% of the time, and barely audible under heavy load. Seriously, the furnace/AC running in my house is louder than this PSU that I'm sitting right next to. -If it was any cooler I'd have condensation. -Good monitoring software -More than enough cables for your builds

Cons: A little long, so would not advise for a micro ATX case.

Overall Review: Seriously , pair this with a Corsair case with a bottom vent (200R) From what I can tell, this setup isolates/eliminates PSU heat/airflow from the rest of your system.

Not a good router for heavy home network users

Linksys E1000 802.11b/g/n Wireless Broadband Router up to 300Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4
Linksys E1000 802.11b/g/n Wireless Broadband Router up to 300Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4

Pros: Setup is easy, either automatically through the included software or manually through the web interface. If the numbers 192.168.0.1 don't mean anything to you, use the included software for setup.

Cons: This router was a MAJOR downgrade from a 3 year old cheap-o router. My network speeds pretty much were cut in half as soon as a started using the router. Don't even think of streaming movies or copying files between computers or gaming systems using this router. I could probably walk the individual 1s and 0s between the rooms in my house faster than this router will transfer them.

Overall Review: I generally enjoy Cisco products, as I am a network technician at a major university, and I understand computer networking. This review isn't a knock on Cisco/Linksys as a company, simply a review on a single poor product in their line.

I'm a fan - perfect for the right situation

YAMAHA YST-FSW050BL2 Advanced YST II & Down-Firing Active Design Subwoofer Single
YAMAHA YST-FSW050BL2 Advanced YST II & Down-Firing Active Design Subwoofer Single

Pros: Simple Setup, All needed cables included, nice sound without being overwhelming. Great for both a small and midsized room. If you have neighbors that would possibly complain about noise, this is a great system. The sounds is deep and rich but not "boomy" (unless you really turn it up). Also, it had a $40-off coupon code when I bought it, so I got it for under $90. Adjustable volume on Sub. Can place anywhere in room, and still have great sound.

Cons: May be underpowered for a large room, or someone that likes their walls to shake. Like most subs (so this is hardly a con) there's no way to truly turn it off without physically pressing the power button, so could be a little bit of a vampire appliance.

Overall Review: Very happy with this product. Replaced an existing el cheapo sub, and I could hear the difference the second I turned it on. Highly recommended. Great Buy.
