Good enough for the price

PROSCAN PLT7044K 7 Inch Android Tablet, Capacitive Touch Screen, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, With Case and Keyboard Bundle
PROSCAN PLT7044K 7 Inch Android Tablet, Capacitive Touch Screen, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, With Case and Keyboard Bundle

Pros: My wifi did work (not all of them are bad). The screen is okay, but the sensitivity is somewhat lacking near the very edges. Though some complain that it is impossible to get the Google Play Store, it is not that hard (has to be installed like a system app, though, otherwise it might not work properly). When rooting this device, however, it certainly helps to have an old 32-bit Windows XP machine laying around for driver reasons (I had a lot of trouble with commonly available tools on my Windows 8.1 64bit laptop, as a first time Android user with this tablet) My case securely holds the tablet inside it.

Cons: No bluetooth (and no way to get a dongle working) Keyboard is pretty small for my fingers. As the specs mention, the CPU and RAM are quite modest. Even though it says "tri-core 1.2 Ghz" it really isn't (though there might be some power saving throttling or something happening, mine seems to usually run at something like 800-900 Mhz). Most games with any 3-D graphics are either glitchy or too slow to be enjoyable, but there are still quite a few that can be enjoyed (Organ Trail, anyone?)

Overall Review: If you are using this as a cheap car-puter, make sure that your OBD-II module is one that works over WiFi (or possibly usb?)
