7 Months In, Great Purchase
Pros: What sold me was the Nvidia graphic card. What kept me was the friendly lightweight dependability of this laptop. And the extremely handy number pad. It runs everything I throw at it, no problem. I use it mostly for internet surfing. I've never strained this laptop to the max but Skyrim on high ran a little choppy. Has a great screen that doesn't seem to get as bright as I want it to. Great investment. Even though I don't use this laptop to its full capability, I know it would be able to handle whatever comes up. That is why I say it's dependable for when time calls for a full rendering in Adobe After Effects or 3D modelling in Maya. This baby will back you up. Number pad and two finger scroll come in extremely convenient. I find myself wishing all laptops had these feature. Great battery life. It's been 7 years and I still get 5hrs easily when fully charged. Pro-tip, when utilizing your laptop as a desktop, remove battery pack. This will elongate your battery life.
Cons: Speakers don't get very loud. Webcam resolution is below par. Pixelated. Good enough for webcaming I guess but don't expect to make youtube videos. As everyone says, a lit keyboard would be nice.
Overall Review: No matter what, the best laptop for $550.
Not the Best Quality
Pros: Installation wasn't difficult and once installed, they looked great. I drilled holes into my grill thinking they were going to be permanent fixtures on my car but looking back, I regret that decision. I wish I had used 3M double sided tape instead, it would've worked just as well without the permanent damage. I placed them on my front grill of my Accord 2011. It was a cool and clear blue white light and it made my car look fast at night.
Cons: They only lasted two months before the bulbs started burning out one by one. I placed them on in the summer time and by fall it was a wreck. I couldn't stand to look at my car anymore with buck-tooth DRLs.
Exceptional Deal
Pros: Most people twitch when they see a recertified product on the market. I was unsure too but I needed an mp3 for my car and commute and this listing was under my budget. This is brand name mp3: policy and guarantee policy included. Had it for 7 months. Never gave me any trouble. Worked perfectly. Sound quality is decent. Transferring songs is easy. User friendly.
Cons: The included earphones were terrible. I donated them. MP3 was too small to hold comfortably in my hand. (First world problems) I never found a use for the clip. The clip was flimsy and too small to attach anywhere.
Overall Review: All in all, no regrets. I'm glad I made the purchase of a refurbished product.
