Pros: Saw some less than stellar reviews on this product. This is because several buyers were confused regarding proper use the product. Short answer: This product plugs into the IDE port of a MOTHERBOARD and NOT the IDE port of a hard drive. I had this working perfectly in 5 minutes with a 2TB SATA drive.

Cons: Nothing worth writing here

Overall Review: Great to bring new life to older motherboards by being able to connect SATA drives. Part of the confusion about this product may be because of an incomplete manufacturer description. Again..... a great way to extend the life of older motherboards.

Pros: Board works flawlessly with XP (use drivers from the included CD and everything will be fine)!! No problems whatsoever... I was up and running in 90 min after receiving the package. Again... stick with the drivers on the included CD!! I built a low end system with an ATHLON II X2 260 3.2G AM3 socket chip and the system is smooth,quiet and fast. Also used 4G|GSKILL F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL memory stick. BIOS built in 08/10 and worked fine.

Cons: Very small con... had to buy a converter to use my old power supply (20 pin to 24 pin) but it only cost 5 bucks.

Overall Review: Plan on dual booting with Ubuntu 11.04 but have only had it one day so far and haven't had the time but will send an update on how it goes. I was nervous buying this board after reading some of the reviews but the price was right so I took the "risk." Some have had problems with this board but they may be anomalies.

Pros: Small but functional Excellent battery life acceptable speed very lightweight Very fast and capable wifi. I have owned several laptops and the reception on this thing is superb. Very fast Bootime! I was impressed but remember that I also installed 2 Gigs of memory b4 I even turned it on.

Cons: Right shift key is a bit of a nuisance fingerprints are a problem for those who care about such things Mouse is just ok. The Lenova touchpads are much more useful from my perspective. Too much useless software comes preloaded but this is easy to fix and should not affect a purchase decision (more of a nuisance than anything else).

Overall Review: Screen is very clear. Given the cons, this piece of hardware is still the best when you compare price to performance and portability. You can't go wrong here. There will probably be small things you don't like but they will pale in comparison to the big things that you do like. Get a 2 gig memory stick when you buy....it speeds things up considerably (just $20 or so).Buy this! I am very happy with it.
