Tt eSPORTS HT-SHK002ECBL Circumaural SHOCK Gaming Headset
Tt eSPORTS HT-SHK002ECBL Circumaural SHOCK Gaming Headset

Pros: - Sounds awesome - Fits nice

Cons: - Falling apart

Overall Review: Like the review writer before me, my headset isn't holding up. I purchased in July, 2012, so it's basically new, but the plastic around the wires is breaking at the ends, and I expect that the wires will be exposed soon. Also, the left earphone is going out. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay over $100 for a headset with the basic features of being circumaural, having a mic, sounding decent, and not falling apart in a few months.

Ozone Gaming Gear ATTACK 3.5mm x 2 Connector Circumaural Stereo Gaming Headset

Pros: - Sounds good - Mic is good - Fits my head well - Cheap

Cons: - Left side speaker stopped working

Overall Review: I bought this headset on 8/24. There were only one or two negative reviews here on Newegg, but I remember reading what someone wrote. "The right speaker went out a few weeks after I ordered it." Well, I've had it for almost a year now, and it went out. The wiring at the bottom of the left ear cup seems to be messed up. When I wiggle it, I can get the sound to work perfectly until I tilt my head or let the wire move at all. I was plenty gentle with this headset, but I know that it won't be long until even wiggling the wire will make it work, so I came back here to check if there's a manufacturer's warranty or something. There isn't, but there are way more reviews saying the the speakers stopped working. Don't buy this headset. It will go bad.

Sennheiser - Sport Headphones (CX 380)
Sennheiser - Sport Headphones (CX 380)

Pros: * I like how the right cord is longer than the left. This was done for a reason as the cord goes behind your neck, resting remaining length of cord on your left shoulder. This support keeps the buds in your ears better. * These headphones sounded amazing for the first eight months. I could totally call them "noise isolating," and they sounded every bit as good as my speaker and subwoofer combo. They in fact made my speakers obsolete, and I only used those for movies.

Cons: * After eight months, which is to say a few days ago, they suddenly went bad. As the reviewer just previous to me points out, the volume is incredibly low. Where I was using only 40% to blow my ears off, 100% is hardly livable, and this of course reduces the quality by causing grainy sounds.

Overall Review: * If they weren't discontinued, I would recommend these. I know it's only some people that get defective products, and I know that I'm just one of the unlucky ones. If I weren't looking for a microphone, I would send them in for manufacturer repair as they're still under warranty, but I decided to order a headset.
