4 out of 5 eggs great for first time liquid cooling 06/04/2014

This review is from: ARCTIC Accelero Hybrid II-120, Liquid/Air Combo Extreme Cooling for Hi-Performance nVidia/AMD VGA

Pros: The install is easy so long as you follow the instructions. This keeps my card way cooler than any fan ever would, and I live in the desert without AC so summertime gaming used to be no bueno until I got this. Other big bonus is that its fan is a regular case fan. I ended up putting the accelero fan on one side pushing, and a case fan on the other pulling. together they keep everything under 65c for me to play battlefield 4 on ultra.

Cons: setup requires a little creativity for the less documented cards.

Other Thoughts: my first ever liquid cooling setup, glad to say it was surprisingly easy and I never had to deal with liquid once.

Pros: I've been a diehard Radeon fan since 1998. While they perform admirably for their budget cost, I decided I had to try out a GeForce for once and I am very satisfied.
1. Every game that I play this video card can handle what I throw at it. Skyrim, Planetside 2, Borderlands 2, Battlefield 3, basically any game thats on the market right now I can run it on max settings. Sometimes I even leave minecraft running in the background and forget, the games never flinch.
2. Software control. I'm used to Radeon just having a settings program and thats it. With this card I have been given the EVGA Precision X software. it lets me control many aspects of the video card. Power consumption, clock presets, monitor fan speeds, temperatures, and the ability to auto adjust based on my current needs. When I fire up a heavy video game I see it throttle up. When I dull things down with just a few web browsers and minecraft it just about idles.

Cons: Can't think of any cons. This card is huge, however when you want a high end video card you accept the fact that it's going to be giant and take up a lot of space in the case. it's hugeness seems just fine to me, doesn't weigh on the board or anything.

Other Thoughts: With my lifelong history of buying budget Radeon cards, and this being my first time with a high end GeForce. I have to say that GeForce does it right. namely because they are in bed with all the video game developers and somehow even though the hardware may be comparable, a GeForce will always outperform in a video game with a GeForce advertisement built in. I think that all future video cards of mine will be GeForce. I was a diehard Radeon fan, but they just don't perform as well.

2000mAh Standard Li-ion Battery For HTC Sprint EVO 4G

5 out of 5 eggs good battery for evo 4g 12/21/2011

This review is from: 2000mAh Standard Li-ion Battery For HTC Sprint EVO 4G

Pros: 500ma higher than the stock battery that my evo 4g came with so it lasts longer without being a high capacity that adds bulk with a larger backplate. battery is strong, definitely a fresh battery.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: if your cell phone battery is over 9 months old and you can't last a full day on a charge your battery needs replacement, this is good cheap maintenance for performance.
