good
Pros: fair price for reasonable quality usable right out of box.
Cons: packaging seems excessive, base is not magnetic.
Overall Review: good gain when matched with an excellent chipset, for thoes who complain about swr any thing under 1.5/1 is hard to accomplish in this price range, if you have an swr meter rated for 2.5 Ghz this antenna is easily tuned by removing plastic housing and making minor adjustments. placing the antennas parallel to eachother and mounting on a horizontal ground plane will produce best results. using with atheros ar5004 based minipci nic and running hostap on a small Linu- distro.
cant go wrong
Pros: cheap, linux support, lowprofile bracket included.
Cons: none after three months use
Overall Review: i have never had a problem with an asus product less than 6 years old.
ok
Pros: well built. does exactly what it is supposed to!
Cons: does not come with ufl to rp-sma wiring, no low profile bracket.
Overall Review: used in a server with ar5004 chipset
what
Pros: excellent preforming out, preforms core 2 extreme quad! beets and AMD processor for the next year coming. Intel keeps going strong, no wonder AMD has not ever over taken Intel's market share.
Cons: not free!
Overall Review: i may be biased considering Ive been buying Intel since the 8085.
good value
Pros: i bought these when they were $104 fast and affordable, good combination newegg did it again. the guarantee is very good.
Cons: not free, not a more popular brand
Overall Review: running memtest86 when you buy memory is a good idea you may not run into a bad block until you have fully loaded the memory.
a good value
Pros: solid, stable, well-built. compare to the i5 motherboards in price but with triple channel and three way sli or crosfire. runs flawless with windows 7 out of the box, not to mention no driver headaches with Linux.
Cons: the bios is not as fast as i anticipated, not a big problem, 4.5 eggs (newegg needs to have half eggs)
Overall Review: as for the previous reviews with acpi problems don't change the bios settings after installing any operating system! that is most likely your problem. i am using the drivers from the CD without any problems.
