Price point plus

Pros: Fast processor, Fast graphics, Great connectivity, Stylish, Great screen. Strangely rich sound. HDMI connection. Did I mention fast?
Cons: Lacks built-in bluetooth and 1394/Firewire. Does not have an upgrade port such as a pcmcia/express card slot. Lid doesn't have a latch (one less thing to break?).
Overall Review: I'm upgrading from another acer laptop which served me well and it too had the best price/performance ratio as the 5739. It's sad that the US model doesn't have built in bluetooth because the one I'm upgrading from has it built in. I guess I could always add a usb bt, but I wish the 5739G was available in the US as it has built in bluetooth (and that one can read and play blu-ray disc). With that said this model is covered under the Microsoft Windows 7 Free Upgrade as per the Acer website. Acer doesn't ship a Vista restore disk, but why would I want to reinstall vista? :P It does offer to make a system restore consisting of 3 blank DVDs. I am now a fan of Acer and overall I'm happy with the purchase. This laptop is highly recommend it to anyone to looking to get alot of machine for a great price. Oh and thank you Newegg, I ordered it on Monday and received it today (Tuesday, It helps to live in southern California).
Fast card

Pros: Fast Card, comes with adapter, cheap
Cons: After about a year of light usage, I lost everything on the card. My laptop and my phone SGS3 will not recognize the card.
Great drive

Pros: Fast, quiet, and reliable.
Cons: not ssd
Overall Review: I've used the drive for 4 months without any problems. I replaced a Samsung drive with this Hitachi and it's much faster. I'm going to buy another drive.
Fully compatsble with Acer Aspire one

Pros: Upgraded from 512MB to 1.5GB with this chip
Cons: none
Overall Review: Great price and newegg always delivers!
Great little laptop

Pros: Wow, it's small and lightweight! Out of the box turn it on and its ready to go. Comes loaded with Linux, Firefox and Open office which can open your documents and spreadsheets. The small screen is bright and very clear. The built in webcam works decently and video recorder works great. The Atom processor is able keeps up with Youtube and even some multitasking while it runs about 3hrs on a full charge. I was pleasantly surprised by it's small speakers, it actually sounds better than my full sized Acer laptop.
Cons: The keyboard is a bit small but it didn't take long to get used to it. The 8GB SSD will get filled quickly as it has about 5GB free from the factory. Upgrading the memory should only be done with someone brave enough to take the whole thing apart. Same thing to be said about upgrading it's "hard drive". Strangely the touchpad is really sensitive and I'm not use to having the click button to the left, instead of being to the bottom as most laptops. Wish there was a Bluetooth option from the factory.
Overall Review: Bottom line is for the price you can't get any better. Everyone at my work was intrigued and a few people ended up buying one. If your thinking of buying one, by all means do it! If you are a power user, you might want to get the Windows version with 1GB. It's a little more upgrade friendly. As of this writing DisplaySearch reports that the Aspire one overtook the Eee PC in terms of sales and I can see why.
