Good card for the $
Pros: Can't beat it for the $! If you're looking for a budget card with lots of mem, this is it! Very stable.
Cons: None. I have had no problems in Vista as others have reported. If you check windows update in vista, a new driver was recently released. You'll probably want something else if you do anything gpu intensive.
Overall Review: I don't do any PC gaming. Vista scores: Graphics - 4.6, Gaming graphics - 4.1. 1600x1050x32mil, all visual effects left on. No gfx related slow-downs at all.
Great for PS4!
Pros: Great sound and battery life. Good build quality. Long charging cable so that you can keep playing while charging. Tons of features. Works with the PS4. Very comfortable. It covers my entire ears and drowns out ambient noise so that I don't have to listen to my son watch cartoons and he doesn't have to listen to my game. Pairing the headset to the base was quick and painless. TONS of configuration options above and beyond your basic headset configuration Surround sound speaker emulation configuration - you can choose from presets of where you would like each speaker to sound like it is positioned. This actually made a huge difference in where sounds .. for lack of better wording .. sounded like they came from. Game presets for specific game titles updatable via software. They had a "footsteps" preset which worked a little too well for footsteps :) Pairs with your phone via bluetooth so that you can take phone calls while you are playing. This is a great feature for me as I am on-call for work 24/7 and I would not be able to hear my phone ring over the sound of the game.
Cons: Requires a firmware update to work with PS4 - minor hassle, but worth mentioning. The base is powered by a USB cable, so it does take up one USB slot on my PS4 - which only has 2 USB slots.
Overall Review: Though the Turtle Beach website and some other reviews mention the use of a "PS4 chat cable" to get the chat features to work for the PS4, but the included "mobile device cable" works for PS4 chat so no additional cable purchase was necessary. Maybe this is obvious to some, but it did have me concerned at first. On the PS4, chat is performed through a use of a headset <-> dualshock 4 cable. This is a limitation of the PS4, not the headset.
Can't beat it for the price
Pros: Reliable, cheap, plenty of vram, works well in Vista. No problems or lock-ups. It just works, and that's what I like.
Cons: A bit slow compared to other cards. In my vista performance rating "3d gaming" is my lowest score. I couldn't really care less though.
Overall Review: This is not a fast gaming card. That's why the price is so low. I'm strictly a console gamer, so it doesn't matter to me. I've built 2 vista systems with this card and it's great!
