CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: Fantastic keyboard, compact design, comfortable to type extensively with - probably my favorite keyboard that I've owned and used, despite the title of this review.

Cons: Dispite the overall sturdy design, the usb connector on the keyboard itself is not well supported. As I bought the keyboard to be portable, frequent unplugging/replugging has lead to a sombre morning in which the leds lit up, but the computer doesn't respond to key presses. Dmesg in linux reports a stream of repeated errors to the effect of:
[10851.386799] usb 2-1.4.3: new low-speed USB device number 18 using xhci_hcd
[10851.388167] usb 2-1.4.3: Device not responding to set address.
[10851.590256] usb 2-1.4.3: Device not responding to set address.

In other words, the lights are on but nobody's home.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic keyboard if you mostly plan on using it in just one place, but if you plan on moving around a lot with it, be very careful. Not as durable as advertised.

SYBA CL-CNL-EOLE802 92mm Hydro CPU Cooler

3 out of 5 eggs loud after running continuously for two-three months 10/02/2011

This review is from: SYBA CL-CNL-EOLE802 92mm Hydro CPU Cooler

Pros: A practical fan; keeps the my not-overclocked cpu at a reasonable temperature.
For the first two months of almost continuous use, very quiet. The computer it is used in does not have a case, so I write this review with it not being muffled at all.

Cons: After about two months of continuous use, it has begun to make a loud, disconcerting rattling noise. Which is irritating enough that I'm buying a replacement.

Other Thoughts: I'm not entirely convinced that it is the fan's fault, given that the machine does not have a case. Take my review with a grain of salt.
