Fast and awesome
Pros: Bought 2 of these for my 1st new PC build in many years and I am pretty happy with them. They are fast and reliable and seem to be decent in terms of heat. I'm not one of those people who is irked because Intel has locked these from overclocking, because I don't care about overclocking. This is mainly a motion graphics workstation for me and so far it chews up most of what I throw it in After Effects and Cinema 4D. I do wish i could have afforded to go even faster, but this is great for the time being!
Cons: None really. I would have liked 'em to be cheaper, but that is hardly a "con".
Not very trustworthy
Pros: It looks nice and feels solid.
Cons: My 1st complaint is that you have to install software on every machine that wants to see this on your network. That kind of sucks. The software also doesn't seem to like to keep the drive connected all the time. Aside from that, this thing only worked for me for about 5 months, and then stopped showing up on my network and caused my drive to making a spooky clicking noise. I assumed it was the drive itself, but it wasn't. The HD itself was fine in any other enclosure or my PC. Other drives put in the Iocell also sounded the same.
Overall Review: When it worked it was fine and fast, but the extra software and dropping of connection was too much.
Fills my ear holes with happy
Pros: I haven't had these long, so I cannot speak to their longevity, but so far I am quite happy with them. Simply put, they sound great. Very full and clear and clean. They pack a decent amount of base, but I'm sure some people will want more. They look really nice and feel very well made. The knobs on the front feel really good and not cheap, which is a plus. I will be using them for music while at my computer as well as sound while editing various video, and adding sound and FX to motion graphics and I think for this they will be perfect.
Cons: They are a bit large for my desk, but hey... that's my desks fault, not the speakers.
Overall Review: Good stylish speakers and worth the money, I think.
To type with
Pros: Seriously a basic cheap keyboard, but it works just fine. I do love a good expensive keyboard, but I have to say this little bugger has done the trick for the past 6 months. No bell or whistles (but really, who wants a keyboard that whistles?!) or cool blinky lights to trip out on, but it is a keyboard, not a laser light show for your fingers.
Cons: Well, the little indicator LEDs are green, and I like blue LEDs, so blue LEDs would have been cooler, but just because Logitech didn't ask me up front what color LEDs I prefer I can't really gripe too much.
Juiced up!
Pros: What is to say? It works as advertised, has a pretty decent amount of battery life and will shut down my system if the power goes wonky for too long here. It has a fairly small footprint for it's size and power. So far so good! The front display is nice and informative.
Cons: None really.
Just flippin' awesome.
Pros: I seriously couldn't be happier with this. The case design is great and is easy to open and install drives in. It looks pretty dang snazzy, and has cool lights that really give it that high-tech feel my room was lacking. The user interface is great too, and so amazingly customizable it is almost wacky! But really this thing just works. It is solid and fast and smart and just does everything it is supposed to and a few things more.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: The only regret I have is that I didn't splurge and go for the 4 bay version. Now I want to convert all my externals to this lovely NAS system!
