Stand Back

Pros: Stevie Nicks singing "Stand Back" ~~ That is what you will find yourself singing when you turn this thing on. It feels like it has a jet engine inside because this thing BLOWS HARD !! I took the temperature of the air coming out the front and was astonished to see a reading of 34 [F] degrees. Usually an AC will out anywhere from 36 - 38 degrees, but 34 ~~ I was shocked. The first day I got it the temperature outside was 97. I live on the second floor of a two story house and there are no trees providing shade anywhere ... After a few hours of having this thing on my neighbor came in and proclaimed "it's cold in here!" I hadn't noticed as I had put on a sweatshirt earlier and didn't even realized it...
Cons: Nothing
XFX 750W Exploded on me at 32 days of use

Pros: This PSU, at least the one I bought, was silent like a cat and beautiful in design. The extra cables are a dream and I was thrilled when it powered up without a hitch. When I bought it in November the reviews were mostly fantastic with the occasional failed PSU so I took that as a selatively tiny gamble and purchased it along with the rest of the components for this build. On day 32 I had the machine running and I stepped away to have a bite to eat and left the computer running for ~30 minutes at which point I heard the Dreaded POP and the horrible smell of burnt plastic... What a disappointment. While it was running there were no signs of trouble of Any kind. No whining, no whirling sounds, just an exceedingly quiet running fan and more than adequate power supply for this build which is composed of the following: MSI P55-GD80 / Windows 7 64 bit / Intel i5-750 / 4GB G-skill 1600Mhz / Caviar Black 640GB 32mb cache / 2 x PNY GTX 460 OC in SLI / Lite-on combo / XFX 750W BE
Cons: The only con I have is the fact that it exploded on me at day 32.
Overall Review: Major cudos to Newegg for replacing it even at 32 days! I will have to wait for the RMA to complete at which point I will update if this reviews allows me to do so. [this statement would be in the PROs but it doesn't allow me to go back to that section for some reason... Also the last item in the build is the coolermaster 212 Plus cpu fan...] My only hope is that the PSU didn't take any other components with it when it went...
Wooooosh !

Pros: I use this AC in a room 12' x 15' and is Cools magnificently. Some reviewers complain when an AC isn't quiet and I can't quite understand what they expect. This air-conditioner is by no means quiet but it blows 36 [F] degree air like the dickens. Yes 36 degrees, I took the temperature of the air coming out if it and it makes the room COLD. I have never heard a silent Air-conditioner other than a Central Air unit or the window unit I had that died, which was sadly Very quiet.
Cons: Nothing
Overall Review: If you're hot ~~ BUY it!
Worked for under 3 minutes

Pros: It's very cute
Cons: Upon receiving this mini there was only one review to go by and at $214 I figured I could not go wrong. While I was not entirely convinced the computer would last as long as my home built SLI rig, nor as long as my 3 year old HP which cost $1200 or as long as my Dell which was given to me second hand 11yrs ago, I was not prepared for it to give out within 3-4 minutes of turning it on for the first time. I bought this little gem as a gift for my roommate and being that his birthday is not for another 3 weeks I figured I would start setting it up in my spare time, installing various software and giving it a 'run for it's money'. Upon entering a password that I know he uses I clicked next and while I was entering his email address the screen began to do what I will call "spaghettify': as little horizontal lines, not unlike angel hair pasta, began to run across the screen starting off somewhat scattered and dim and intensifying into a solid white. The same thing happened on 3 reboots.
Overall Review: I requested and was given an RMA but I am now wondering if I should just call back and request the return that was offered by the very nice rep. on the phone..... If I do get another one and it actually works beyond the 3 minute mark I will report back
DO NOT BUY this keyboard and mouse

Pros: It's black, it's somewhat thin, giving it an ethereal sense ... the keyboard and mouse is light ... mouse is almost too light. It has a good range of signal.
Cons: Directly out of the box, my SHIFT key acted like a CAPS LOCK button and would not unlock until i took out the batteries, then the shift key would not work. Meanwhile: At least 7 of the letter keys did not work while 3 other letter keys would type in triplicate [i.e. liiike thiiisss] IOGEAR should be ashamed of themselves as a company and perhaps stop wasting peoples time with ordering/returning this absolutely worthless piece of junk.
Overall Review: Buy a different brand. One with a solid reputation.
