Pros: The drive worked fine right out of the box. No driver issues or firmware issues that I'm aware of at this time. Cosmetics are nice (the gloss matches my other drive and case nicely).

Cons: The particular drive I have seems very noisy, much more so than my other burner rating at a very similar speed. The Plextor is also MUCH more particular of Media that the other drives I have owned. Additionally it is commonly is very slow or fails when finalizing the burned CD or DVD. I wouldn't be quite so critical of the drive is it weren't priced as a premium product. Overall I would say this is a okay drive but not superb; possibly even a bit on the sub standard side overall. In summary it worked but not as well as my other burners and also is quite a bit louder. It's just not as seamless and enjoyable to use as some of the others out there. If a person is a Plextor fanboy then nothing is really wrong with it but If all you want is a quality working burner than you can save some money and likely get a better drive elsewhere.

Deftech Over

Definitive Technology Mythos Two On-Wall or Table top Speaker Single
Definitive Technology Mythos Two On-Wall or Table top Speaker Single

Pros: Decent build quality

Cons: Supplied specs are misleading at best.

Overall Review: Please read manrecon's review - it is on the money. I purchased some 8040 series surrounds and feel like I was VERY mislead regarding specifications. The mid-bass drivers are smaller that specs would seem to indicate and low frequency performance will not even come close to the specs (overall 50z spec), they will do about 200hz. I had also some promonitor 1000's spec'd at 8 ohms, DC resistance was about 3.4 ohms or so. That indicated an approximately 4 ohm speaker. They are not horrible but the Deftech specs are meaningless.

Food for thought

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST3750330AS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: This is a decent price and okay performance.

Cons: Quality control seems to be an issue. Data is always more valuable that the item it's stored on. Both consumers and manufactures need to keep this in mind. All the engineering and technology is a waste if it's never executed to a quality product. Maybe China is no longer the bargain is used to be, possibly US manufacturing wasn't such a bad deal after all - just food for thought.

Beware of this company!

SCEPTRE X20WG-1080P Black 20.1" 5ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1,000:1, US Warranty
SCEPTRE X20WG-1080P Black 20.1" 5ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1,000:1, US Warranty

Pros: Cheap price and an okay buy as long as the short lifespan and complete lack of warranty is not taken into account.

Cons: This is company that is bound to fail considering the product quality and complete lack of integrity regarding product warranty. No one will ever answer the phone and the only RMA point of contact is via FAX. If a person reads the warranty terms, it's quit easy to see that any and every opertunity will be taken to refuse the service. If you have ever tried to get one of those 'mail in rebates' from a second tier shoddy company you'll have an idea of what warranty will be like with this company.

Overall Review: I have few others but I beleive this forum wouldn't appriciate my colorful yet descriptive and to the point opinions regarding this manufacture.
