Does as advertised. No problems to date.

Pros: Using it on a laptop with a blown ethernet jack. Installation on Windows 7 was pretty simple. Windows update didn't work but I had wifi so I pulled down the driver from their website. I haven't had any problems with it since then. I can unplug and then plug it back in while maintaining ethernet port parameters. Sleep mode doesn't mess up ethernet jack. Another bonus is that their linux driver contains all the source code. That's always nice.
Cons: Nothing of note. This just works.
Overall Review: Based on the ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet.
