Pros: It is true as one of the best rice cookers on the market for the price. For the one person who says it doesn't cook, try putting some water outside of the container of the rice. This rice cooker is meant to be used as a steamer. Just do what you normally do by adding rice and water in the pot and then pour some water outside in the housing as well. Your lid should be cling clanging as steam releases when cooking. That way you know it works.

Cons: Somewhat lacking in instructions on how to use.
