Great mid-budget machine
Pros: Competitively priced Snappy Illuminated keyboard 10-Key "Feels" Expensive Lightweight Touchpad can be clicked anywhere, has multi-fingered gestures Relatively low-bloatware*
Cons: McAfee comes pre-installed Windows 8 Touchpad software did not work out of the box - required re-installation and manual configuration (works great now!) Battery life could be better (larger batteries in tablets these days)
Overall Review: Overall VERY satisfied. Fits my needs well. Good price.
Much disappoint
Pros: Easily disassembled when meeting concrete at velocity.
Cons: Began stuttering after a couple months. Works 90% of the time flawlessly, until you need it to work. Then, it just ignores you until you lift it from the mouse-pad and re-position it. No discernible reason, i.e., free of detritus, connected, not-abused. It just wants a break in those crucial moments when it really will anger you the maximum amount possible.
Overall Review: Was a such a big fan of this mouse during its operational phase. So let down by the seeming randomness of its refusal to work intermittently. Much sad.
DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE
Pros: You can change the colors of the display on this mouse.
Cons: Everything else a mouse is supposed to do for you this one falls short. From simple movements to it overheating even with the center LED light turned off. I was looking forward to this mouse before it arrived. Yet after only a single month my left button stopped working and I had to return it under warranty. Almost seven weeks later I received my replacement and it was more awful than before. It would overheat to the point of hurting my hand after long periods of use even with the lights off. Mouse functions along the X and Y axis were constantly changed making for infuriating use of this device. I recommend to anyone purchasing a new mouse to just pay the extra 20$'s for one that has been tested and proven. This was a loss of money and less fun than watching those dollars burn.
