Does what it needs to do on the cheap
Pros: It's a pretty decent basic on-the-cheap mobo that seems to be capable of some basic overclocking (although that's not my thing).
Cons: Not the greatest layout, SATA plugs are in a bit of a weird spot and could use some more fan headers. Not enough for my Antec case. Doesn't recognize XMP profile for my Mushkin RAM modules and I can't figure out how to set the timings right since it's a faster-than-usual speed. Sometimes boots into code 99 which isn't explained anywhere and requires a hard reset before POST.
Overall Review: It does what it has to do and hasn't failed on me... yet. Have had it just over a year.
Great up until now...
Pros: Can run games with very good framerate and more than modest settings. Not too loud of a fan. Good size for my mid-size tower.
Cons: Card started failing on me a couple days ago - things randomly freeze for literally two minutes and then starts responding again - no error reports run but did catch it blaming the video driver once. Tried rolling back and updating again with fresh driver install, didn't work. Reseated card and removed the dust from the inside of the case (wasn't that much!) and still happens. Blips of full-width artifacts 30px high during GTA4 loading screen. Also has been freezing when starting flash video. Really not happy about this happening just over a year of use. Probably going to replace with another manufacturer if it's dying now.
