Great case

NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim
NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim

Pros: This case looks great. I was hoping to find a case with a professional look, and this case nailed it. The stock fans are wonderful and don't need to be replaced. Numerous slots allow for plenty of expansion. The case came plenty of replacement screws in case any got stripped or lost.

Cons: Cable management was a bit tight. The side wall behind the motherboard tended to bow with cables underneath it. This was primarily due to me trying to avoid any visible cables and a nonmodular power supply. I certainly couldn't take an egg off for that.

Overall Review: This case is gorgeous. I got it for a computer I built for my father, and he loves it. It's quiet and cool. I pushed the cpu and dedicated graphics card, and the case help keep the sound low and the temperatures very tolerable. I highly recommend this case.

Serious Design Flaw

ASUS Q501LA-BBI5T03 Intel Core i5 4200U (1.60GHz) 6GB Memory 750GB HDD 15.6" Touchscreen Notebook Windows 8 64-Bit B GRADE
ASUS Q501LA-BBI5T03 Intel Core i5 4200U (1.60GHz) 6GB Memory 750GB HDD 15.6" Touchscreen Notebook Windows 8 64-Bit B GRADE

Pros: 1. The computer is fast and easily upgrade-able 2. The computer looks sleek 3. The keyboard and mouse are solid (in my opinion) 4. Was in great condition for a B-grade refurbished model 5. Beautiful display, best part of this computer

Cons: 1. Is a bit of a fingerprint magnet 2. Plastic tabs on bottom are easily broken during disassembly 3. Speakers are so-so Here I launch into why I gave it one star. Thomas W. is absolutely correct; the design for the hinge is unsound. If I had to guess, it would be that the spring in the hinge is wound too tight. It exerts too much torque on the entirety of the computer. It ripped the screws right out of the body of the computer. I opened it up and tightened it down. Shortly thereafter, the screen started being pulled from the housing. It eventually got to the point that I super-glued the housing. This solved that problem, but then the housing starting being pulled from the hinge mount. I'm currently trying to secure that.

Overall Review: I recommend staying away from this computer. Asus has some good products, but this is not one of them. This hinge design flaw should be something caught in quality control. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes, but in the meantime, I'm down my only laptop.
