Good cooler
Pros: The material is very cool and conducts heat from the laptop very well. The lift on the back of the cooler allows air to be sucked in from the bottom and keeps the surface of the table cool.
Cons: The dual fans could be bigger. The holes on the cooler should cover more surface area. There are certain parts of my laptop that were not getting the cool air (specifically top right and bottom left corners - where my gpu and cpu are located).
Overall Review: I haven't done any temperature tests, but just by touch, I can feel a difference in using the cooler. I believe this is not a perfected product, but it is a good start.
Good card
Pros: Gets the job done. I don't play many demanding games anymore. But this runs all of my games just fine. I can play everything on high/extreme settings. Games include: starcraft2, diablo3, hearthstone, neverwinterMMO, tera, rift.
Cons: can't think of any
Great Pad
Pros: Very good surface. I used to be a hardcore semi pro first person shooter gamer. So a mousepad is critical to me. I owned everything from steel to plastic (funcpad) mousepads. I always stayed away from cloth based pads because they wear out and tend not to be as consistent and accurate as other ones I mentioned. Now that I am just a casual gamer, I decided to get this mousepad because it is cheaper than buying a $50 pad. It has surpassed my expectations. The bottom has traction so it sticks to most surfaces and allowing the pad to move around. The surface is smooth and consistant enough that I don't lose any accuracy when gaming. The size is good too. It is not too small that my mouse runs off the edge. It is not too big that I need a huge area to put the pad.
Cons: Only thing I would say about this is the way the mousepad is packaged. It came in a tube rolled up. So for the first few days, it was not perfectly flat on my desk. But the problem went away after it settled down.
Overall Review: Great pad for a casual gamer or just someone who is looking for a good pad. Not sure if it meets the standard of pro or hardcore gamers since I am not in that scene anymore, cannot really comment on that.
Works
Pros: Easy to install and works as advertised. Nothing fancy.
Cons: none
My goto Mouse
Pros: I had two of these mice. First one was mainly used for gaming such as Starcraft2 and Diablo3, along with everyday stuff. After a year or so, the left button started to be unresponsive if it is not pressed all the way down. Bought a second one right after because the mouse just feels comfortable and accurate while gaming. PRO: - Accurate and very smooth - Comfortable and feels natural in your palm - Very appealing to the eyes.
Cons: Only con I have is the fact the left click button became unresponsive after one year. This may have been the result of the clickfest nature of gaming such as Diablo3. Thus I am willing to give this another shot.
Nice looking headset
Pros: - Nice weight, doesn't feel flimsy. - Extension cord is a nice touch - Great design - Retractable mic
Cons: - Bass a bit weak - Might be a bit tight on some heads - at $80, a bit pricey.
Overall Review: Nice build and quality. Sounds ok to me, since I am not a audiophile. But I did notice the bass is a bit on the weak side. The biggest gripe I have is that it tends to be a bit tight. I guess I do have a big head, but nevertheless, it hurts my head after wearing it for more than 20 minutes. Wish the tension that holds the earpieces would be a bit more forgiving. My Bose headphone ($150) sounds a bit better and I can wear that for hours (doesn't have mic). Still, at $80, I was expecting a bit better sound quality (it is not bad). Would I buy this item again if I have the choice? I am 50/50 on it. Mainly due to the tightness of the earpiece. Everything else I nitpicked and can live with it fine if I needed to. Hopefully the tension in the headset will ease up and grow into my headshape.
