Thermaltake TR2 TR-500 500W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: I have this in a small Silverstone HTPC case tucked into a media stand. This this powers everything properly and doesn't get too hot.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: came with a Thermaltake rebate that was delivered faster than any other mail-in rebate I have ever gotten. Kudos to them.

Rosewill RPS-100 6-Outlet Power Strip, 125V Input, 1875 Watts Maximum Power Output, 3 Feet Cord
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: cheap
well made

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not much else to say, these are as good as any power strip at double the price. FYI nowhere do these claim to be surge protectors.

Logitech K400 Wireless Touch Keyboard with Built-In Touchpad for Internet Connected TV's
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: good for HTPC (in theory)

Cons: limited range

Other Thoughts: I got a new (not refurb) one for Christmas 2013 from a big box store. The specs claim 33' range but that seems like a downright lie. I sit about 12 feet away from the receiver (clear line of sight in the front of my HTPC) in my living room this thing has a lot of trouble with that distance. At that range I get some bad lag and the keyboard needs to be pointed right at the receiver. It would be awesome if they made a Bluetooth version of this keyboard because RF doesn't really cut it for a HTPC unless you're in an apartment or a lot smaller room. REMEMBER to turn the keyboard off when you're not using it or it will eat through batteries.
