Most Critical Review

Maybe it's my equipment

Logitech Harmony One Advanced Remote Control
Logitech Harmony One Advanced Remote Control

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: I spent a lot of money on something that has become a paperweight. I either spend a lot of time in the "Help" section of the remote trying to get all components to the right setting or I just find the original remote and use that which is faster. It never finds the correct input to my amplifier or my TV so I have to cycle through the inputs using the "Help" section of the remote. I finally gathered up my pile of remotes and use the one(s) that works. It's easier.

Too little freezing power

Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet, and Ice Cream Maker
Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet, and Ice Cream Maker

Pros: Nice appearance; sturdily made

Cons: In order to make ice cream, you basically have to freeze the mixture in a regular food freezer (or nearly so) before placing in the unit, otherwise the ice cream mixture will not freeze. The part that holds the ice is just not large enough to hold enough frozen liquid to freeze room-temperature mixtures. The mixture melts the ice and you end up with a semi-cold fluid ice cream mixture because the mixture melts the ice before it freezes. Under ideal conditions (ice cream mixture on the verge of freezing prior to putting in unit) you end up with a VERY soft ice cream which you have to stick back in a food freezer, otherwise it becomes liquid again almost immediately.

Overall Review: Pass this unit up.
