Pros: -Great card for the money. Was the best bang for the buck in in this price range when it came out. If you can get one used for a good price, jump on it.
-Nice factory overclock.
-Overclocks easily and stays extremely cool. I was able to get huge overclocks out of it (+160 GPU / +800 Mem) with a small voltage bump and it never broke 50 degrees C. The cooling system is extremely effective.
-While not a pro about the product itself, Gigabyte's customer service it outstanding. More on that in "Other Thoughts".
Cons: -Unfortunately one died and I had to RMA it.
-Yes it is heavy and long. Not a con in my book, just something to be aware of. The specs are available, don't understand why people complain when the info is readily available.
Other Thoughts: I originally had only one of these in on a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H with an i5. Easily got a massive overclock with it, held stable and would play everything in 1080p/3D at completely playable (30+fps) frame rates. When I saw them on here at a great price, I jumped on the chance for a second to run SLI. With both in they ran everything I threw at it at least 60fps in 1080/3D. After about a week the old one died and was causing artifacting.
Now to the reason for still giving 5 eggs even after it died. Gigabyte's RMA and customer service are top notch. I cannot say anything about their email response, I just called the number that can easily be found by reading through these reviews and GB's responses. They were very professional and easy to deal with. I they immediately emailed me RMA and shipping forms. I sent it out and within 5 days had a response back. Within another week I had my replacement card. Unfortunately, the replacement card was also defective and would get stuck on the post screen. I called back again expecting at least a little bit of a pain, nope nothing but friendly, professional customer service and a sincere apology .
They sent me an RMA form, this time they also sent a pre-payed FedEx label. Again within a week I got an email saying that they were all out of 670s to replace mine with and offered to send a 770. When I called to talk to them about it being part of an SLI setup, they immediately gave me another RMA for my still working second card and sent me two 770s. They could have easily said sorry, your problem.
Sorry for the novel here. I just feel like people are more likely to only write reviews when they have a negative experience and wanted to make sure that credit is given where credit is due. Not all of their return/RMAs are a bad experience. If you have problems try giving them a call.
With the treatment I have received, they have a loyal customer here. I will happily even pay a little more knowing that it is backed with that type of customer service.
