Pros: Good browser, thin & light, good screen size & brightness, USB works with CD drive and camera, fairly durable.

Cons: Cannot switch to beta channel to use Supervised Users feature.

Overall Review: I bought this in late November 2013 to use as a secondary computer for my kids to use. The main reason I purchased a Chromebook was that I read on Google (www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/features/) that chromebooks had a "Supervised Users" feature that allowed kids to get on the Chromebook without having a Google account and I could track their web history and also I did not need to be concerned about viruses (my kids have visited game sites on my Windows 7 and it got a nasty virus). However, I quickly found out that there are different versions of Chrome OS in the Stable, Beta, and Development channels. This Chromebooks is on the Stable channel (as it should be from the factory). However, Supervised Users feature is only on the Beta channel version and if I follow instructions to switch to the Beta channel then absolutely nothing happens. I have recently posted to Google forums about this. I'll repost here if I get an answer. If I could use the Supervised Users feature then I would give this more stars. I am upset with Google that they would adverstise it as a feature when it is not even in the stable release yet!! I suppose that feature will eventually make its way to the stable channel, but who knows how many months that will take. On a positive note it does recognize my external Rosewill CD/DVD drive via the USB port. I have read disks, but I have not tried to burn anything. I can also connect my Canon Rebel XTi via USB and Google+ will automatically detect it and start to upload the photos to the cloud. I can then move the photo if I want, but I was glad that I am able to upload photos from my 5 year old camera. Also, streaming video works well via web and most web based games my kids play work, but my son found some games on miniclip that do not work -- website says only supported on windows or MAC.
