Pros: look stunning moves enough air
Cons: I feel like this is more for looks instead of function
Overall Review: I was expecting more airflow at 100%. They do give enough to accomplish the job. My next build I might skip these, just because I want overkill airflow on it. However, they are beautiful and I'm content. REALLY quite at 100%
"Cheap" heatsink
Pros: Low priced. Fits LGA1156. Came with a fan.
Cons: Fan bracket is literally as thick as paper clips, and are easily bent out of shape. CPU hits thermal throttle easily Idle is 50c at 1.32v
Overall Review: I have a great cooling system, 2 140m in and 2 140mm + 1 120mm out. Quite enough airflow. I applied Asus's easy OC which bumped my voltage to 1.32 which is a little high but should be reasonable. This results to my CPU hitting thermal throttle at 100c. Technically Intel says I should be at 72c. The clips are a bit ridiculous. They're pretty much paper clips, easily bent out of shape. The bottom of the heat sink are flattened out tubing instead of a block of copper. This equals less copper to gather and dissipate heat. I wouldn't buy this again, its not horrible but its not good.
I like it!
Pros: Blue. Fan space! Great airflow opportunity.
Cons: Feels a little cheap. Plastic window, not tempered. Very bottom filter catches on everything and snags off the case.
Overall Review: I'm happy I bought this case. I did it just so I had an upgrade-able tower for the future. I'm not sure if this is the best case for $50. But it is nice. No regrets at all. For those that want to know, the 2.5" SSD goes right behind the PSU on the other side. This case would be really sick if the metal was a little thicker and it had tempered glass.
