Great drive, but watch out!

WD Black² Dual Drive 2.5" 120 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD Kit WD1001X06XDTL
WD Black² Dual Drive 2.5" 120 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD Kit WD1001X06XDTL

Pros: Works great in a single drive setup. The SSD is fast and reliable, while the HDD has great storage and highly reliable. However remember its slower cause its a disk drive and disk drives need time to spin up. Great customer support.

Cons: If your device supports 2 drives. The WD Black² Dual has to be your primary in order for you to use the 1TB HDD. Does NOT support RAID. Drive will only function in IDE mode. Personally these are major cons for my situation.

Overall Review: A pro or a con depending on your situation. This is a non standard hybrid drive. 3 Eggs for creativity 1 Egg for reliability Removed 1 Egg for compatibility.

Was sold a half DOA VGA

GIGABYTE AORUS Xtreme GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce 11GD, GV-N108TAORUSXW-11GD
GIGABYTE AORUS Xtreme GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce 11GD, GV-N108TAORUSXW-11GD

Pros: -GTX 1080 TI -Bought it for 900.00

Cons: -Wasted so much time trying to figure out why I was having crashes. -Memory is half shot in this video card I received. -Crashed out of any and every video game that used more than 2GB of visual memory.

Overall Review: -Honestly sometimes you get a good card. So far my experience with GIGABYTE has been poor. -I've tried reaching out to their support staff twice since I bought the card. But no responses. So I am going to RMA it.

Got a semi-doa card EDIT::: Card still runs!!!! Drivers were unstable but AMD/ATI fixed them AS OF 11/3/17

SAPPHIRE TRI-X OC Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100361-2SR
SAPPHIRE TRI-X OC Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100361-2SR

Pros: Run fast and performs well. EDIT::: I been abusing the hell out of this card 4 years later and it still performs splendid. It was a rough and rocky start but the kinks have slowly worked themselves out. Never buying a cutting edge "latest" video card too many bugs in them.

Cons: Overheats and locks up. Unstable random video card unresponsive blue screen. EDIT:::::Card is watercooled and runs like a champion!

Overall Review: Love that it supports mantel. EDIT: Love it can still play the latest games at 1080 @ 60fps

Hot CPU due to bad thermal design

Intel Core i7-4790K - Core i7 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I74790K
Intel Core i7-4790K - Core i7 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I74790K

Pros: High end performance Low power consumption

Cons: Poor engineering on the entire cpu line. Requiring a de-lid on cpu to apply better quality thermal compound. Seen all the info on these Haswell and Ivy bridge cpu's needing better thermal compound on them a darn shame they don't solder like AMD does on some of their cpus or use a better thermal compound.
