Excellent monitor, good price
Pros: Good price, looks great. I didn't realize it had touch controls... very nice. I'm using it as a TV with my HD box (no reason to name the provider) and it looks great at 1080i. Xbox 360 games look great as well. And it comes with VGA, DVI and an HDMI cable.
Cons: Speakers are terrible. I use external computer speakers (actually bought some from here).
Overall Review: For Xbox 360, I'll need to buy a $50 "kit" that comes with an HDMI cable and an Optical/RCA audio adapter. The sound on this monitor is really bad.
Works
Pros: It works. I used it on an EeePC and then on a Dell Mini 10v
Cons: Gets hot. But that's what the heatspreader is for right? Um ...right?
Not bad
Pros: One of the lowest priced USB DVD drives/burners capable of DVD+/- DL on the site. Very light Only uses USB, no power chord Plug and play
Cons: Feels cheap (because it is?) Takes up two USB ports. So the benefit of not having to carry around a power chord makes you give up the ability to directly back up a DVD to a USB on a system with only two USB ports. But you can always save the image to your hard drive first. It's not a big deal, just an extra step.
Overall Review: If you want to burn files, watch movies or copy files from a disc, this should do the trick. Not too much to carry around either. It's great for me since I rarely need to use a DVD drive. I think this should cost $10-$20 less. It just feels very cheap and flimsy. I wonder how long it will last. If you're using Linux, be sure to have the codecs you need and install libdvdread4 for movies.
Works great
Pros: I bought this for my aluminum Macbook. There have been absolutely no problems with stability. Now I have 3gb of RAM. I even ran a hardware test when I installed it. Everything is fine.
Cons: none
Overall Review: My Macbook starts up 12 seconds faster, programs start up a bit faster, and I can run a virtual machine and give it a full 1gb of RAM, which makes it run super smooth.
Better than I expected
Pros: They're cheap speakers, but they sound good. They're small and blend in quite well with the HD LCD monitor which i also bought from Newegg. The little sub-woofer definitely helps to assist those tiny speakers in putting out decent sound.
Cons: Nothing really
Overall Review: That circle thing... it has an on/off switch, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. On top is a disc that spins around, that's how you adjust the volume. I'm not sure how I feel about that. There are more wires and clutter for your desk (or in my case, TV stand... which is actually an old book shelf) but I can also see it being convenient in some way. Anyway, great speakers for people who want better sound than what's built in to their monitor/laptop/TV, etc. But if you're a huge techie or you have to have great quality stuff, these might not cut it. Actually, if that's you, then why are you even looking at $20 speakers?
Amazing for the cost
Pros: Superb replacement for my old 2nd hand monitor. High resolutions Comes with cables Looks great HDCP! Internal speakers are actually not that bad... considering they're built in to an affordable 19" LCD. It costs barely over $100, it's totally worth it
Cons: It's a bit wobbly, but I prefer wobble than tip over. Pre sets are kind of weird, but the monitor can be fine tuned.
Overall Review: This monitor might not blow you away, but it is a great replacement for older LCD screens and ANY CRT.
