Great super tiny build

SilverStone Sugo Series SG05B-USB3.0 Black SECC / Plastic Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case SFX 300W 80Plus Power Supply with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)
SilverStone Sugo Series SG05B-USB3.0 Black SECC / Plastic Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case SFX 300W 80Plus Power Supply with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)

Pros: The exact size I was looking for.

Cons: I wish the actual removable outer shell wasn't a single "U" piece, if it was 3 separate "walls" this would be 5/5. Also the front and back material is quite flexible and thin, but the supports are sturdy enough. I would like to see this sans a PSU as I used another one with higher output -- this would help lower the cost!

Overall Review: I have a z77 mini-itx board with liquid cooling block, an SFX PSU, and a gtx 580 in this little guy and it all fits, run quite cool and is very quiet. Cabling was a mess, and my 2 SSD's are just kind of sitting there strapped down with wiretires and sticky tape but it all fit.

Most Critical Review

Great after some work

MSI 15.4" Intel Core i7-720QM 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium 9S7-165611-287
MSI 15.4" Intel Core i7-720QM 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium 9S7-165611-287

Pros: Fast, decent price, average video card specs. light weight and good size - not clunky. Display looks exceptional, coming from lower resolution laptop this is much better. I was put off by a lot of the pictures I saw online and was expecting the red glossy area above the keyboard to glow when powered on -- thank science it does not.

Cons: As soon as I un-boxed this and moved over steam games and some other games I started playing. Within 10 minutes there was a strange stutter/pause for roughly 1-2 seconds. Sound continued on fine without stutter but video hung and input was completely ignored for the duration. This occurred at seemingly random intervals and I started googling. Turns on the WD hard drive inside is NO GOOD. I am usually a WD fan and have about 10 of their drives scattered in different things but this drive is junk. I replaced it with a spare Samsung I had and the problem went away entirely. Stutter free.

Overall Review: If you are going to get this laptop, be sure to have another drive or be prepared for random stuttering/pausing. I was planning on getting an RMA and spending another 400 bucks on a Clevo but after the HD swap I feel this will be a really good laptop with outstanding performance. *note* it wasn't just in games the stuttering occurred, however it was the most noticeable during game play of any kind.

Frequent Stutter

ASUS 16.0" Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium
ASUS 16.0" Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium

Pros: Lightweight, Windows 7, awesome specs for the money.

Cons: Got this as an XMAS present for my girlfrield, first time we flipped it open the plastic screen hinge (right side) broke off (not a bright start) we superglued it back and everything was more or less normal until we noticed the issue in the next sentence. Every 2-3 minutes the laptop stutters for 3-10 seconds (or longer), not only in game during "hot" moments of high cpu but even sitting idle, or just browsing the internet. At first I thought this was a realtek driver issue (had plenty of realtek issues before) so we got the newest drivers from the asus website and the stuttering remains. I will be contacting newegg/asus to see what we can do about this dud of a XMAS present

Overall Review: besides the stuttering and the hinge (which is only cosmetic) this is a good laptop for the price, perhaps I was unlucky and got a bad unit :(
