Nice Board!

Pros: Chipset coolling (NB/SB) is impressive. Supports DDR3 2000 (I got my memory running at 2043, 9-9-9-27. Did't push all to the limit). THE BIGGEST PRO: dual 8-pin 12v CPU power connector. My last board was an ASUS p6x58d premium and the CPU power feeding circuit messed up. The 8-pin connector was burnt and trned into black. Vcore of i7 930 was set to 1.35V, not even close to extreme overclocking. I guess bloomfield CPUs just consume a great amount of power. With this dual 8-pin design, overclocking is easier and safer. Besides, there is an extra PCIE power connector, too. If you want to build 3-way SLI+ PhysX, you might want more power to feed your PCIE sockets.
Cons: The integrated audio chipset is Realtek ALC 892, while the spec listed online of EVGA website states that it is ALC 889. Compare these two chips, there are minor differences that 892 has a little less feature than 889 does. However if you really care those features, you should get a nice audio card rather than using this integrated one. I listed this as a con because "as advertised" is important in my opinion. Even 892 is way better than 889, EVGA should list this online so users know what they are buying. Not worth to take one egg off, though.
Overall Review: Read many reviews and found that people say great things about EVGA customer service. This is actually the key factor in my deciding to buy an EVGA product. Yes ASUS board has fancy features too and they sell A LOT. But read those reviews, while there are lots of 5 eggs, there are also many 1 eggs. That POOR QC!! In my case, ASUS p6 boards are know to die soon and won't post at all (read the reviews on p6x58d, p6x58e, p6t7,etc). While I ask for RMA, they refused to fix it since I removed the NB heatsink and install water cooling for it. They told me that this voids the warranty. Come on!! With this kind of product quality, they should have had a recall for all p6 boards at the first place! And the problem is with the CPU power supply. what does it have to do north bridge cooling? They ask for 120 dollars and said that if I didn't give them my credit card information in time, the board will be returned unrepaired in one week. I refused to pay, and the board is still there after 5 weeks.
dead after 10 months

Pros: Pretty fast, large capacity.
Cons: As title said. I installed widows on this drive and Ubuntu 11 on a second drive, so this one serves as my primary drive. Now it is extremely slow. I thought it was due to 64 bit system and AHCI configuration, so I set SATA to IDE and reinstall Window xp 32. Stilll slow. Enter WinPE and use Win PM to delete partitions and format. Still slow. I give up. 2T data including my my favoerate games vanished.Even worse, since it is the primary Drive, I can not boot Ubuntu now. Catching a deadline and can not reach my data!
Overall Review: i7 [email protected] 12G DDR3 2000 8-8-8-24 Asus P6x58 I think this shouldn't be so slow.
Update on my previous Review

Pros: ****
Cons: ****
Overall Review: As I said in another review, this thing sometimes just freeze and refuses to boot, saying there's no booting device. Being too lazy to file an RMA, I did some search and find out that windows power configuration (I'm using win7) has one option: turn off hard drive after xxxxxx. the default is 20mins. I am almost sure that this is the reason why when I wake it from sleep, it will freeze, and doesn't even recognize it's OWN hdd while the system reboots. Change that setting to never turn HDD off, and there should be no problem. Maybe this is not a Win 7 compatible hard drive. Yeah, I still hate where the warranty sticker is. I want dual channel mem......One egg off

Pros: Big, solid and with a reasonable price. Well build, comfortable to carry, many pockets.
Cons: Not quite good looking? I like it though, some of my friends thinks otherwise. Maybe offering more colors (black/red, all grey etc) would be a good idea. And not checkpoint friendly, I mean the 180 degree flipping open function. But seriously, how many times do average geeks like I am travel a year?
Overall Review: Good bag, it will last.
feels great!

Pros: you guys are right! this keyboard just feels great! it makes me want to type. Maybe not good for gaming, but programming and writing becomes much less a pain with this keyboard.
Cons: Just spent a few hours with it and didn't find any. Noisy? I kind of like the clicks since they works like white noise and make me concentrate.
