Misleading

SAMSUNG T27A750 Black 27" 5ms LED BackLight LCD 120Hz 3D Monitor w/DTV Tuner & 3D glasses 300 cd/m2 DC 1,000,000:1 (1,000:1)
SAMSUNG T27A750 Black 27" 5ms LED BackLight LCD 120Hz 3D Monitor w/DTV Tuner & 3D glasses 300 cd/m2 DC 1,000,000:1 (1,000:1)

Pros: Built in DTV Tuner, Thin, Small Bezel, ECO options, LED

Cons: Even though this monitor is advertised as 120hz it only has 2 HDMI connections which can only support 60hz. If you try to game in 3D with this monitor you'll only be running at 24fps max due to the limitation of HDMI. Also no DisplayPort adapter.

Overall Review: If you want to take advantage of 120hz, you'll need to either use Display Port or Dual Link DVI connections. Overall the monitor is great, just know what you are buying before you get it.

Most Critical Review

HVR-2250

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250(WinTV-HVR-2255) Media Center Kit Dual TV Tuner w/ IR Remote PCI-E x 1
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250(WinTV-HVR-2255) Media Center Kit Dual TV Tuner w/ IR Remote PCI-E x 1

Pros: I like how this was a PCIe x1 card. I have limited space and this is the only available slot I have since I'm running SLI GTX260's and a Wireless Network Adapter that is in my PCI slot. Dual tuner, so you can record one show and watch another. Slim low profile card that doesn't take up more than 1 slot.

Cons: I've spent the last week trying to get this thing to work in my system. Biggest problem I found is that it won't run on my OS (Win7 x64). I've tried letting Windows update it, I've downloaded drivers directly from Hauppauge, nothing works. I've tried to contact Hauppauge but they could careless about their customers. There is no forum support, only a UK based forum that is filled with helpless people. The only way I could get it half way working was to downgrade my bios, os to 32bit, and used sone beta driver. Even then I couldn't even pick up any channels through the cable input.

Overall Review: This is my first TV tuner and I was hoping for a simple plug and play item, this was not the case. My expectations for Hauppauge products was a lot higher until this incident. Now I will be returning this and getting a competitor equivalent. If you plan to use this on a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 operating system, I would think twice. If you just do some searches you'll see I'm not the only one having problems with the 2250.

Pioneer SW-8MK2 Andrew Jones Designed 100-Watt Powered Subwoofer
Pioneer SW-8MK2 Andrew Jones Designed 100-Watt Powered Subwoofer

Pros: Love the sound, asthenics, matches my other speakers. Fast shipping and got it on sale. Standard RCA input and also has speaker wire inputs.

Cons: Wish it had a slightly longer power cord. No other cables included which was fine for me since I had purchased a sub cable. Main speaker faces down which may disturb residents if you have any under you...

Overall Review: I'm not a audiophile however I try to read up and learn what I can from various forums. I decided to get this sub instead of a couple others I was looking at (Dayton, MartinLogan, BIC) mainly because I have the rest of the Andrew Jones series of speakers from Pioneer. Using this with a Denon AVR-E400. Note if you dont have a Y splitter you can just plug it into the L input and it works perfect.

Great little Flash Drive

Patriot Xporter Xpress 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive PSF32GXPXUSB
Patriot Xporter Xpress 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive PSF32GXPXUSB

Pros: Solid build quality, compact size, picked this up when it was $20

Cons: More pink in color than red, bright LED unless you're looking for that - I'd prefer one without it. USB 2.0

Overall Review: Can't go wrong for the price and a very respected brand. I've owned several Patriot memory products and none of them have steered me wrong.

Great Drive

WD My Book 3TB Desktop USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Storage WDBACW0030HBK-NESN
WD My Book 3TB Desktop USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Storage WDBACW0030HBK-NESN

Pros: 3TB, USB 3.0, WD10EZRX (Green Drive inside), Front LED isn't bright, Black enclosure

Cons: Takes a few seconds to open a folder if not being actively used, but that's expected. Pre-loaded WD software. Current price due to harddrive shortage.

Overall Review: Overall I would recommend this external drive. Price is high now (Paid $150 on 9/14/2011)
