Never take a knife to a gun fight!

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition, 08G-P4-5173-KR, 8GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition, 08G-P4-5173-KR, 8GB GDDR5, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

Pros: -Cool and collected: Runs spectacularly cool and never buckles under pressure. Like most owners of the card will confirm it boosts up to 2GHz all by itself. GPU Boost 3.0 really knows how to squeeze out the right amount of performance with no tinkering required. -Unlocked potential: using PXOC overcoming is a breeze if you do find yourself wanting to squeeze out that extra bit of performance. I was personally able to get +75 on the clock and +450 on the memory which led my card to being at a stable 2.1GHz. -Piece of cake: Which is the response from the EVGA GTX1070 when I go to ask it to delivers frames in my favorite games which include GTAV, DOOM, Metro series, Tomb Raider, MGSV, Splinter cell, Battlefield 4 etc. it goes without saying that I never have a problem sitting at Ultra maximum settings and hitting the in my opinion sweet spot 60FPS. I game on a 1080p monitor so of course this card is a bit overkill but I wanted to go with something with a bit of future proofing. -Ninja quiet: card out of the box will run with no fans on which really shows just how power efficient this bad boy is. It's got an 8pin power connector and if I remember correctly this guy needs around 175 watts when you increase the voltage in PXOC. I see temps never go above 55C even when it's pushing max power. I have a NZXT phantom 450 case with case fans everywhere though so that might have something to do with that. Plus my AC is usually always on. -The price is right: Price for this card when purchased was $399 with Gears of War 4 thrown into the mix I cannot complain with what I paid and the performance that I've seen for this card. Conclusion: This card has done everything I've asked for and then some. The best way I could put it is "DAMN EVGA! Back at it again" the ACX cooling and refreshing design yet again captivates new buyers including myself the world over. Real knock out of the park with this one.

Cons: -There are literally no cons to this card, well none that I've been able to see at least.

Overall Review: LED light on the side of the card with EVGA 1070 wording is always nice to look at. -no back plate but not a con at all since you can get one if you pay a little more for it in a different model. Can't complain about something you're choosing freely not to get so not a con.

Fantastic performance!

Good PSU for the money

Cooler Master i700 - 700W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification
Cooler Master i700 - 700W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification

Pros: Great PSU and is pretty cheap. -Have the option to use 2 Nvidia GTX 760's in SLI in future. -Bronze certified.

Cons: The PSU arrived with a defective fan. I only realized it didn't work after 2 months when my rig would randomly shutdown on me. felt the exhaust grill and no air. Put in for an RMA to CoolerMaster.

Overall Review: I have to buy a second PSU for use while I get the defective one replaced. So for all of you future i700 owners check your exhaust fan as soon as you get it in make sure it works.
