Oustanding netbook

Pros: Spacious keyboard, good performance, amazing battery life. Sylish. Extremely light. From my perspective, everything you could want from a netbook at a good price. Can run several applications or many browser tabs at a time without much trouble. Good size screen for a netbook. Runs cool for a laptop; never have the sense that it is burning my lap.
Cons: Low webcam resolution. Spacebar slightly raised, as a previous reviewer noted. Also wireless internet connection can occasionally be a bit slow to get started but it is stable once established. Also this may be the fault of my old wireless router and not the netbook.
Overall Review: Others seem to have mixed feeling about the touchpad, but I have found it to be one of the best I have used, including full size laptops. The only other petty complaint I have is that the charger and laptop LEDs both glow very brightly and I must cover them to sleep. Also, I may spend the $20 or so to get a 2 gig ram chip to make it even better at multitasking. One thing that surprised me is that the system monitor treats the atom as a dual core processor, which I was unaware of. This is presumably why it is surprisingly good at multitasking
Good travel scanner for price

Pros: Makes pretty good quality scans up to 600 dpi, which is plenty for reasonable photo preservation. The price is pretty good for a portable scanner.
Cons: Two main problems. Because of the feedthrough design, it is difficult to keep the scanner glass clean since you cannot directly access it. Some things that can help are a high pressure air can or a lint free cloth if you can get it to feed through. Nevertheless, I had recurring issues with lines caused by dust on the scanner glass. The second problem is the feedthrough itself. Small papers, particularly if they are not completely smooth, have a tendency to turn while in the scanner leading to a very distorted image. Guiding through by hand can help some, but isnt perfect and doesnt always work.
Overall Review: Overall, a good value if you are looking to scan documents or images on the road. Definitely not as good as a flatbed, but where that isn't an option this can do the trick. I havent tried any of the other portables on the market so I really can't say if any of the others lack the cons mentioned here.
Great power supply, good price

Pros: Cool, quiet, stable, great modular cables.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: My case is far neater with this modular drive. After about 4 months, its still running cool and stable with a quad core processor and mid range video card. No complaints, and with an opaque case I haven't had any problem with the red light.
