Amazing value!!

Sennheiser Black CX200 3.5mm Connector Canal Stereo Headphone
Sennheiser Black CX200 3.5mm Connector Canal Stereo Headphone

Pros: Lightweight, GREAT natural ambient noise-cancellation, can hit awesome lows that I could never hear in any of my other earbuds, mid and highs are great as well (not as great as more expensive earbuds, but they are nowhere near mediocre), CHEAP!! $22 after tax, that's amazing value-for-money!!

Cons: The cord length is a bit short for my taste, no biggie just a personal preference of mine. Also the cord is somewhat flimsy (to be expected with earbuds of that price), again, no biggie. Honestly, apart from those two cons, I can't really say anything bad about these!

Overall Review: I kind of wish I went with an over-the-ear style headphone rather than another set of earbuds, but I still do not regret my purchase!!

Works but only just...

ASUS USB-BT211 Mini Bluetooth Dongle
ASUS USB-BT211 Mini Bluetooth Dongle

Pros: Cheap and tiny. Doesn't protrude from the side of my laptop much. Fairly easy to set up, I just nabbed the drivers off Asus's website directly rather than using the provided (not to mention outdated) driver CD.

Cons: Pretty unreliable for the most part. It works and hasn't died on me in the 1.5-2 years I've owned it, but in terms of connection, it is very hit or miss. Sometimes it will connect to my phone, sometimes it won't, sometimes it will drop the connection halfway through sending files. Transfer rates on the box says "Up to 3.0mbps", and I can honestly say right now that you will never see anything close to that, or even 1.0mbps to be frank. The rates vary from 20-200kbps and it fluctuates a LOT.

Overall Review: I have a Dell all-in-one PC that has built in bluetooth that transfer far better and much more stable than this thing. On my Dell I can achieve a stable 300-400kbps transfer rate. As said earlier, this thing fluctuates crazily between 20-200kbps. Can be frustrating at times when you're in a rush to transfer something without any other physical options, but hey for the price paid for this thing, I guess it's a small price to pay. At least it transfers...

Big step up!

XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card
XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: This was definitely a big and noticeable step up from my onboard GMA. The fan runs silent but the card may get hot at times, no big deal since I have an exhaust case fan hanging right above it. Graphics are smooth and excellent.

Cons: NONEE!

Mind blowing sound quality!

HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card
HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Installed on XP Pro SP3, delivers the clearest most crisp audio I've heard come from a sound card in years. The bundled software has nice tweaking options. It even includes an optical cable!

Cons: Nadaa

Can't beat the price!

GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Incredibly inexpensive, very expandable, ran fine on first boot, laid out very well, nice features, very reliable.

Cons: The instruction manual wasn't very clear on many things, especially on where and how to install the LEDs and power for the power and reset buttons on the front panel. Only two slots for memory.

Excellent RAM

Cons: None at all!
