Works just fine.

GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING 3 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD B350 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING 3 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD B350 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Works with Ryzen 5 2400g Was able to overclock my RAM to 2933. Runs dual monitors.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I wasn't sure if my Ryzen 5 2400g chip would work but it did no problem. My Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 RAM works and is stable at 2933...you need to manually "overclock" it in the BIOS (hint, use the plus and minus keys to take it off auto and change the clock multiplier) . No complaints so far.

Most Critical Review

Very slow Netflix

Panasonic WiFi Ready Blu-ray Player DMP-BD65
Panasonic WiFi Ready Blu-ray Player DMP-BD65

Pros: It works as a Blu-Ray player and can access Netflix (usually).

Cons: The Viera-Cast access is VERY slow and the interface is clunky. No way to access other content on the network and doesn't play all types of computer files.

Overall Review: I have both this player, and a Samsung C5500. Both are on the same network, with the same router, and even the ethernet cables are from the same manufacturer bought from New Egg at the same time. The Samsung is far and away the better player, and is (usually) cheaper too. It's much faster accessing Netflix, it can play almost any file type, it can play them across the network from another computer. It also has a much easier graphic interface. Also, a few times the Panasonic couldn't find Netflix...I had to re-start the player. Very frustrating. I've yet to encounter that problem with the Samsung.

This review is for the AS Rock rebate program.

ASRock 27" 100Hz (Max.) IPS Full HD FreeSync (AMD Adaptive Sync) 1920 x 1080 sRGB 99% Challenger CL27FF Monitor

Cons: Only 1 HDMI port, no Display Port.

Overall Review: It's perfectly fine. The picture is nice and crisp. It's not going to be used for AAA gaming but casual games, surfing the Internet (does anyone say that anymore?) And playing videos. It's great for that.

Garbage metal, garbage plastic.

TACKLIFE Precision Craft Utility Knife Set 22 Pieces Sharp Scalpel Razor Knives Tool Sharp Steel Blade User-Friendly Design CKH01
TACKLIFE Precision Craft Utility Knife Set 22 Pieces Sharp Scalpel Razor Knives Tool Sharp Steel Blade User-Friendly Design CKH01

Pros: None.

Cons: Cheap metal blades. Cheap plastic handles. Cheap plastic case.

Overall Review: I've only used this for light specialty work and most of the blades have broken already. The case itself broke almost immediately. Don't waste your money. A single good Xacto or Excel blade is worth more than this entire kit.

Works as intended, great customer service.

CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS Systems - 1500VA/1000W, 120 VAC, NEMA 5-15P, Mini-Tower, Sine Wave, 12 Outlets, LCD, PowerPanel

Pros: Useful for medical devices like CPAP.

Cons: Batteries failed too soon (see review)

Overall Review: I won't cover the basic advice in other reviews; there is good advice here about picking the correct one for your application if you don't know much about these. The main reason I bought this is to connect to a CPAP machine. I have a whole house generator so I only need it to work long enough for the automatic generator to kick in. The power in my neighborhood is iffy too so I needed a power conditioner as well. Now, as for the batteries; they failed less than 2 years after purchase. I found this out during a power outage. I also have my gaming computer connected to it so, not good. Luckily no damage even though the computer was on and I was using it when the outage happened. However, the customer service was great and they shipped me out another battery immediately. I used to make custom powering systems (solar, battery packs, etc) for a living and I know enough that I wasn't overloading the UPS or doing anything else that would have caused premature failure. I know that batteries don't last forever, and I've changed dozens of UPS batteries over the years but these failed less than 2 years from the date of *manufacture* and that's too soon.

Off center laser thhrows off the "ballance".

Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Mouse, 2.4 GHz USB Unifying Receiver, 1000 DPI, 5-Programmable Buttons, 3-Year Battery, Compatible with PC, Mac, Laptop, Chromebook - Black
Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Mouse, 2.4 GHz USB Unifying Receiver, 1000 DPI, 5-Programmable Buttons, 3-Year Battery, Compatible with PC, Mac, Laptop, Chromebook - Black

Pros: It works.

Cons: The optics / laser is not centered to the mouse. Scroll wheel feels sloppy and loose.

Overall Review: I don't like this mouse at all. The optical sensor is way over on the right side of the mouse instead of the center. For over 30 years I've been using mice that have had the trackball / optical sensor in the middle and I'm used to that. Now, if I move the right side of the mouse slightly the pointer will move a lot. I'm going to buy a new mouse in a minute because this just feels bad. I'm too used to the old fashioned way. Also, the scroll wheel is sloppy and loose. The whole mouse just feels cheep.
