Awesome case, tons of room!
Pros: This case is perfect for those who want to do a custom liquid cooling loop. I did a lot of looking to find a case that could support Monsta (85mm thick) radiators and this one fit the bill. I even confirmed with Phanteks support (very responsive) before purchasing. Easy case, fan controller, lighting control, etc.. all built in and functional
Cons: Ok, so I did my research to make sure the "cons" wouldn't be an issue for me, so please make sure you know what you're building before you buy: There is a removable "panel" that may block some longer graphics cards, not an issue if you either have a shorter card or if you were planning to remove it. (I have a medium length card and ended up mounting my gigantic reservoir to this piece of metal) The radiator mount in the back for a smaller res/pump tends to block larger power supplies and makes the cables not fit with my 1000w (if I were using this mount point, which I'm not). the lower right side of the case has clear plastic, but is only usable to view the "Phanteks" logo. I really don't mind, the logo plate is interchangeable but I wish they would have made it slightly wider, I wanted to stick a flow meter in there, but not enough room.
Overall Review: The above "cons" are only a "con" if you're not expecting it. I'm mentioning it here so that you can be informed. I'm not counting it against their rating since it is and does everything it claims to be. I love the case, and I'll definitely be a Phanteks customer again in the future. I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking to do custom liquid cooling loops with large rads and large reservoirs. Just be conscious of you graphics card length.
Great Board, Built in Liquid Cooling (for the VRM's and such)
Pros: So I was comparing this to the extreme, and even though they're closely priced, similar (not identical) features, etc... I went with this because I had every intent on using the built in liquid cooling block. Once hooked up and piped in, the board is awesome. That block keeps the VRM's ultra-cool.
Cons: None that I've found, everything works as-advertised. Fast board
Overall Review: Absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs the Z170 chipset. I do a little gaming and a lot of work on my computer. I would encourage hardcore gamers to check out the Asus X99 line if you're planning multiple GPU's (to get the extra PCI Express lanes).
It charges
Pros: This charger is working great for me. I use it to charge 2-3 devices at a time with no problems. Mostly androids. Seems about the same speed as my chargers from the manufacturers
Cons: Nothing, it works.
Fast msata
Pros: Super fast, msata SSD, works great out of the box.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Opened packaging, snapped onto my motherboard, cloned my primary OS drive to it, changed my boot device, booted up and WHAMO! super speed increase. Works great!
Awesome fans, not threaded though
Pros: CHEAP!!! They're inexpensive... I bought a 4 pack when I only needed to replace 1 fan... Used 2 to add some side panel intakes and am keeping 1 as a spare. They worked as described, right out of the box.
Cons: Some people may consider my "other thoughts" to be cons. I do not. The fans were super cheap, so I find it easy to overlook the thoughts below.
Overall Review: I encourage anyone who buys these to also buy extensions like Newegg part: N82E16812189006 as the leads are fairly short (approx. 4-6 inches) Also, be ready to put some muscle into installing these. A other reviewers have mentioned, The fans are not threaded. They do include screws, but it takes a bit of pressure. I forced the screws in on a work bench prior to installing in the case, made the case install much smoother than my initial attempt.
They work
Pros: Ordered/received 3 of these, they all work and match the description perfectly.
Cons: None really.
Overall Review: Just what you need for putting case fans far from their power source. I used these to extend my side panel fans to make removing the side panel less annoying.
