Finally!! And the winner is SIIG!!!

Pros: This is the one!!! if your looking, then stop here is the USB 3.0 and 2.0 comp. adapter your looking for. doesn't need external power for most. pop lockin fast on a 7200 rpm drive. ssd not so much, but firm and stable. no write errors or anything of the such. sata III yet to tested.
Cons: n/a
Overall Review: I went through 8 different external drives, and adapters, and no go with to any of them. I am getting another for my wife for an external ssd thumb replacement drive, bigger then a thumb drive, but way more space and sooo much faster.
P!O!S! Do Not Buy

Pros: its samsung
Cons: you would think that being a samsung would mean something. the voice recognition does not work, the firmware is junk. Oh and no refunds :( I saw that but didnt think it would be so junky. I lost this battle, they are sending me another one. so we shall see. but if the firmware bites as much as the first, i will have to put it down as well
Overall Review: n/a
Garbage

Pros: One wire .. hinting at powered via USB capability
Cons: Ineffective at best. does not work on any usb with any hard drive even low wattage SSD that my old sata usb powered just fine. Don't waste your time thinking one wire .. sweet still a pipe dream for me. This is not the solution.
Overall Review: SIIG is my old one the hunt for me continues, after my RMA is started. I hate wasting time RMAing things i need.
dual monitor issues

Pros: Cool Looking 3 Big A$$$$$$ Fans Beautiful movie play back
Cons: 1 - Kicks to Desktop mid game play 2 - Dual monitor does not seem to be working? 3 hours into CS Source and it will randomly kick to me to desktop. Not often but it seems like it is getting to be more often. Could be my system... but i doubt it.
Overall Review: You hardly notice the fans kicking in, very quiet. Manufacturer NOTE Dual monitors does not work I would think it would auto detect?
update

Pros: Not sure why my name is showing up as NA, like not sure from idiocracy? anyway to update my original post gigabyte called me next business day, offering to help offer support and ask for more details on what was wrong. AWESOME!!! I originally setup hackintosh, the board came with BIOS f7 on it. Hackintosh worked except i never got sound at all and usb was quirky (the usb device would work as long as it was plugged in prior to boot, otherwise it would crashs sytem) and I had random powering issues with it. so i used it with 16 gig sandy i7 quad core to save me 6000$ from Apple and rendered like a beast while at home from work. finally i had it and built a new hackintosh and installed 7 ultimate on this and at first ... you get my first post about restarting issues and random shutting down issues. after a few updates and such - it is working GREAT! for the past week.
Cons: After ultimate 7 install i installed DVD drivers that came with the board.. as any expert knows... not always to be trusted. the power / energy saver crashed the system (even more random shutdowsn and restarts) I installed some other software from the dvd(same issue) so I uninstalled the software from the dvd - installed only the required drivers for network and chipset and ran all windows updates. had one or two issues wthile running steam Black OPSII i hit esc to pause went to pick up my wife from the train station came back to my UPS with a consistent beep and the system shutdown. had to power off my UPS my system and restart???? that is when i wrote my first review.
Overall Review: It has been 1 week since my initial review and my system has been running like a champ, so what changed? not sure(idiocracy) the only change was I ran the video card update from Steam for my Radeon 6800 series card since then not an issue or power flux. SOOOOO be aware that there is some sort of PCIE issue potential with motherboards, ... add it to potential ram issues and potential PowerSupply issues. this one though strictly Video Card or so far it seems Gigabyte still rocks for the professional looking for top notch ... on a side note, what notice will you see between 3.9 quad core and 4.6 quad core over clocked? 2 things one nothing and two your overclocked will die needlessly sooner. If you wnat a faster system... BUY A FASTER SYSTEM
hmmmmm NO

Pros: it was pretty fast, booted OS in under 10 seconds but didn't last like it should
Cons: year and half about, just stopped no warning one day, no hot use, no overclocking system, 6 core amd with 6 gigs of ram gamer, not used or left on a tremendous amount, just died, not what i was hoping for. glad i backed up. did lose some stuff. i wll not likely buy again, i just started the rma process, lets see how that goes.
