Pros: free hat! and it was given because of a problem newegg didnt cause, but rather helped resolve!

Cons: not exactly my style, and i dont wear hats much anymore. regardless, a great way for newegg to show they appreciate their customers.

Pros: i have really enjoyed this game. however, i knew what i was getting into before i played it. it is made by criterion, who also made burnout: paradise (which i absolutely love). there are a lot of similarities between the two, so it is almost like playing burnout: paradise with licensed cars.

Cons: many need for speed fans have complained about how major of a departure this game is from the rest of the nfs games. like i said previously, i figured it would be, and this doesnt bother me. there are a couple of things that i dont really like about this game, but they arent too major. first, the online play can be pretty bothersome. most of the time is spent driving to events and waiting for the events to start. this wouldnt be such a problem, if each time it didnt turn into a demolition derby. there is incentive for crashing other players so once a few people get to the destination it turns into a "crash as many people as possible as fast as possible" situation. second, there is no way to play custom event lists in public games. you are given the option to create your own playlist of events, but once you join a public game, those are no longer available. what this means is that you can only play your costume lists with your friends in private games. going along with this, there is little info given for each event, so even while you can create your own playlists, you dont really know what you will be doing until you actually play the events.

Overall Review: i would have liked to see some stunt events at least in online play, if not in the single player game play.

Pros: We got one a few months ago and have really enjoyed it. It has been a real hit when we have friends over to play. Voice commands are usually well recognized and gesture commands are also pretty useful.

Cons: They have yet to integrate motion/voice controls into any media aside from the Zune marketplace (no control for Netflix, windows media center, or media streaming from your pc). It seems like an easy fix, but has yet to be done.

Overall Review: Space may be an issue in a smaller room, but only if you dont have 6' between you and the sensor. Placing the sensor higher (above the tv, for example) helps some in increasing that distance.

Pros: packaged nicely. newegg, as always, was very helpful in replacing/returning all 3 pairs i tried.

Cons: computer wouldnt boot with these modules installed, so i returned them. second pair also wouldnt allow the computer to boot. i tried one last time with a third pair, and got the same results. bios wouldnt even post, so i dont know what the problem was.

Pros: very different (read: refreshing) feel for a FPS. although i enjoy call of duty/halo type games it is nice to have one like this to really mix things up. some of the puzzles were quite difficult for me to sort out, but when i did the reward felt worth the effort.

Cons: some might say that the gun play is a negative for this game, but it is entirely secondary to the main mechanics of the game. yes, you can shoot a gun but the point is to evade and when necessary disarm, not to go guns-a-blazing through the levels. the story seemed like it could use some refining. it was a bit difficult to follow the first time through.

Overall Review: i rented this game initially and enjoyed it enough to consider buying it a year and a half after the fact. seriously, if you can get it for <$10 it would be a shame not to get it.
