Great processor & Decent graphics
Pros: It's fast and is relatively inexpensive. It's PassMark score on my computer was much higher than the ~3500 that PassMark says that it should get. This processor is much faster than my Phenom x4 945 which is also a quad-core running at 3.0Ghz. Even though the Llano has less cache, it still crushes my Phenom.
Cons: Unfortunately, the graphics are not that good. They'll play some intensive games at the lowest settings, but even then, you won't get more than 30 frames per second or so. For streaming video or light gaming, however, this processor does very well.
Overall Review: Even though I'm very happy with this processor, the FM1 motherboards/processors will likely become outdated due to the new FM2 motherboards and processors. It would probably be better to get one of the FM2 processors; besides being able to upgrade in the future, you will get the next level of AMD graphics.
You get what you pay for.
Pros: It was cheap. It looked nice. It was relatively sturdy.
Cons: First of all, the top 5.25" drive didn't accommodate my CD drive because of a metal lip inside of the case. Second, the power supply that came with the case died. Fortunately, it is still covered by warranty, and I'm hoping (unrealistically) to get a refund/exchange from the manufacturer. Third, it was very tight inside the case. The rear PCI (Express) slots were designed terribly, and there certainly wouldn't be any room for a large video card.
Overall Review: This thing is fortunately no longer in stock, so I don't really have to tell you not to buy it and spend an extra $20 on something nicer.
It didn't work.
Pros: It was free. It didn't blow up.
Cons: It was utterly and completely dead.
Overall Review: Again, it was free.
Good, but not as good as it should be.
Pros: For the price, this is the best processor that you could ever hope to buy. It installed and booted Windows 7 Home Premium very quickly and received a 4000 score by passmark.
Cons: However, the overall performance is not that impressive. It barely outperforms my older Phenom 945 @ 3.0Ghz. For the price it is awesome, but if you have an extra $100 I would definitely go for the i5 2500K.
Overall Review: It was only $100.
Awesome Motherboard
Pros: This motherboard was inexpensive and had a dvi port as well as a vga, which was needed for a projector. I had never heard of Foxconn before and was a little worried about it being a piece of junk, but when I installed it, it worked in better than my other motherboard (an ASRock 880GM-LE). And for those of you who are worried about not buying a big name brand product, Foxconn is the company who makes a lot of the Apple hardware. If it's good enough for Apple, it's good enough for me!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: It only has an ATI 3000 integrated video card, whereas, some boards in the same price range come with the ATI 4250. The latter is nicer, but if you won't be doing any gaming, this will still be fine.
