Does its job

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Does exactly what I needed it to do for a decent price.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I needed a cheap upgrade that had free shipping and this was a perfect fit. On another note, I used to handle purchasing for our retail technology section at my last job and we had a hard time getting drives like this for the same price newegg hands them out at. Often times our cost was higher from our trusted vendors. All in all. You can't beat this price.

Perfect!

ASUS P5QL PRO LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5QL PRO LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I was looking for a cheap mobo that would let me cannibalize parts off my old PC until I could front some cash for the rest, and voila! I bought this mobo precisely for the fact that it supports older "legacy" parts such as my old PS2 keyboard and my clunky 80 gig IDE HDD.

Cons: Not really a con, just power plugin is a bit awkward. If you are picky about clean cabling, stay away.

Overall Review: This is a narrow ATX board, but not really an issue with me. It does what I want it to do.

Does what I need

ZOTAC GeForce 8400 GS 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card ZT-84SEH2P-FSR

Pros: I'm not a gamer and did not need a card for gaming purposes. For a general use PC that runs MS Office and checks email, it works just great.

Cons: None, does what I needed it to do.

Overall Review: Home built system. WinXP Home, Intel E5200, 2 GB RAM (kingston 800MHz), on an Asus P5QL board. I was impressed after install, its a heckuva lot faster than my old P4 system!!!!! Runs Ubuntu well, have not had any problems.
