Pros: Looks nice, easy install. Using this with an AthlonX2 4200+ - My cpu temps have never hit above 50C no matter what I throw at it. Very quiet. Blue LED's match case lighting scheme for a nice look. Sleeved power cable. Comes with grease and a sticker. Great for the price.

Cons: Low fan speed requires you to diable cpu fan speed warnings. But the documentation says the fan may slow down or even stop due to the onboard temp probe, so ok - No biggie - I can tell by my temps that this thing is working fine. Included grease is kinda sticky.

Overall Review: People that have 50C idle temps with this thing must have no case fans installed or something. With 4 case fans and this thing, I'm idling in the low 30's. If you don't like blue LED's don't buy. If you don't tie up your cables neatly in your case, watch for the open fan (and learn to use wire ties.) Heatsink is large but not massive. No problems on A8N5X or A8N-SLI boards.

Pros: Good value, has great sound, easy install. Setup lets you choose to install drivers only, and not a whole slew of apps with it. Jacks are not too close together.

Cons: Mic/Line In/Optical in all share the same jack which is totally asinine. Even mobo onboard sound (which, mine wasn't bad to begin with) has separate mic and line. I can't use this card now because I need to use both - mic in for games, and I use Line In for streaming audio. Selecting mic source when a line is connected results in a super loud screech that could blow speakers.

Overall Review: I got this open box, so I don't know if the screech thing is normal, but the fact is that I can't use this card for myself due to the above cons. It is a great card for the money and will definitely find a home in one of my computers. Recommend highly if you don't need Mic and Line In at the same time.
