Kensington K39667AM PowerBolt Black PowerBolt 4.2 Fast Car Charger for Tablet
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I previously had a Lenmar 4.2a charger and found that it wasn't supplying the amperage it was rated. Had good luck with a previous Powerbolt product so I snatched this model up when NewEgg put it on sale. It works great, I can use my Nokia 928 Windows Phone with GPS navigation running (high battery drain scenario) and it will still charge the phone, no problem.

Cons: Not really a con, but would be nice if it came with a cable.

Cyber Acoustics Stereo Headphone for Kids ACM-7002

5 out of 5 eggs Better than expected... 05/23/2012

This review is from: Cyber Acoustics Stereo Headphone for Kids ACM-7002

Pros: Just bought these for my two under-5 girls in anticipation of a long plane ride to Europe. They completely cover the ear and the cushioning is nice and soft. Kids seemed to like them too - they didn't want to take them off during my initial test with an iPhone. We have another brand made by BeBop Kids which are OK, but those only rest on the ear rather than cover them. I think the CyberAcoustic "cover the ear" design is better for the plane due to the volume limitations - you need to block the outside noise as much as possible, otherwise your kid might complain they can't hear.

Cons: Not foldable, which would be nice for travel. Separate left and right volume controls (although some people might consider that a pro). No adapter required for some planes (but I have a lot of these leftover from various business trips - you can probably get one from the FA or any Radio Shack).

Other Thoughts: I will try to update in a few months to comment on the durability, but my initial impression is that they should hold up.
